'The pictures are deceiving. The property is disgusting and unkempt. When I got there I couldn’t immediately let the host know how disgusting the property was because I gave T-Mobile and there was no reception. Since it was already about 9pm I left to look for a hotel. When I let the host know my concerns about the property and requested a refund, she refused. She wouldn’t even refund the cleaning feel. This was 340 dollars out the window. Book at your own risk.'

'We had an amazing stay! It was the perfect escape from the noise, lights, and constant activity of New Orleans. For the first time in a long while, we fell asleep without hearing police sirens, traffic, or someone revving an engine at 2 a.m.The peace and quiet were exactly what we needed. We brought our telescopes and spent the evenings stargazing under some of the darkest skies we've seen in years. Instead of city lights, we got stars. 'This place is small but has everything you need. Cold AC, hot water-shower, frig, microwave, comfortable bed, dock for fishing, etc. Easy check-in and check out instructions and good communication from the owner. Best place you will find for the price in Sargent. Would recommend it to anyone.'

'For the price for one night I would expect more like the stove to work after we had to change the propane. It was clean enough but could have been better. The lights in the back bedroom did not work. Other than that the back pier fishing was excellent, we caught a bunch of croaker which were running and two large blue crab. I would stay again in the future If offered a deal. '
