Cottages in Golfito

'Beautiful rainforest property with good birding opportunity, birds song, cicadas, and frogs, but "touristy", so the natural vibe gets ruined. It seems they cater to tour groups, so not very private or queit. Have to pay for 3 meals a day but on their schedule that's too late for serious birding and not as healthy as I'd prefer. I travel solo and do not enjoy sitting by myself or wasting time I could be out finding birds sitting in a restaurant. I go ut birding before daybreak so, lunch as late...

'We stayed 2 nights in Iguana Lodge, one before and one after our 3 day jungle trek through Corcovado NP. Perfect place to prepare and recover for a tough hike. Splendid contemporary rooms with ocean views, friendly staff and great food in the restaurant. Breakfast was a little basic. '

'Mooie, grote en schone kamer inclusief badkamer. Heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel en een schitterende omgeving!'

'Schoon en gastvrij '

'The views were utterly amazing. We had monkeys right outside the home jumping from tree to tree. We had a lot of bugs every morning dead on the balcony and by the doors'

'What a beautiful property! Individual cabanas in a lush setting with lots of birds, squirrels, tropical plants. A really good restaurant and helpful staff! Treat yourself!'
