'This place has a rat infestation. My parents were in one of the beachfront cottage and they saw a rat in their cottage. Unfortunately this was no surprise to the management as they admitted to complaints made by other guests for that cottage. We checked recent reviews and confirmed that other people have complained about this. Due to this issue my wife and I barely slept the first night as we had our lights on to keep potential rats away. 'I spend 10 days in Marlin Beach resort and enjoyed it a lot. The rooms are bare but spacious. Staff are very friendly and helpful. I arranged for the resort pick and drop off at Cebu airport and all went well and felt very comfortable as a single (female) traveler.'
