Welcome to Idyllic Yurt! Your pet friendly mountain getaway! This 2 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom yurt is the perfect blend of modern and unique. Enjoy mountain views while sitting on the uncovered deck relaxing in the hot tub! There is also a gas grill & fire pit so you can cook anything from hot dogs to s'mores! Both bedrooms have king beds with smart TV's in the room, and a jetted tub in the primary! Gather around the wood burning fireplace from October-March (wood not provided)! Dogs are welcome, only one allowed! A pet fee of $75 each will be added when your pet is added to your booking! During the summer months, a HOA community pool is available for guests.

You're close to necessities like food & entertainment but you feel so far away at the Yurt. The communication was good from beginning to end & we would come back again.

This property is perfect for a little getaway in the Gatlinburg area. Only about 9 minutes away from downtown Gatlinburg, cute little fire pit and a relaxing hot tub. The Yurt itself was spacious and had everything you would need. We stayed for 6 nights and the accommodations were great. The staff responded to any questions very quickly as well. Only advice beforehand to anyone is having a 4 wheel drive vehicle is recommended because those steep roads are no joke! Would stay again 10/10

This cute little yurt had and amazing view. It suited our needs, it was a fun adventure. Upon arrival the unit had a very strong perfume smell, we were able to air out the unit. The beds were comfortable, but the couch was stained and smelled. Cleaner needs to look up. Cobwebs were obvious. All and all we had a great stay.

Smokey mountain cabin

We had a lovely stay in the Yurt. It’s plenty room for a couple with a kid or 2. The house was as advertised, clean and comfortable. The neighborhood was just outside the downtown of Gatlinburg, quiet with a beautiful view of the mountains. We used the trolley system to get into town, parked for free at city hall and rode into the town. Great stay!!

The property itself wasn't bad at all. But I felt like I was intruding on the owner's personal residence. There was no spaces for unpacking our suitcases, no closet space or drawers that weren't full of the owners stuff. Not even a space to put our suitcases. The cabinet below the kitchen counter was containing rodent poop and not clean. The bathroom walls around the sinks had toothpaste splashed up on it. Also there was no hand soap and only 4 wash cloths. We went ahead and bought extra wash cloths and hand soap and just left it there for future guests. I will be looking for something else next time

False advertisement

The pictures that went along with this cabin were very misrepresented. Very dated cabin. Pet friendly cabin, very dried up under one of the beds. The sheets were very nasty in one of the rooms. The hot tub did not heat properly. The air conditioning did not work properly. And the refrigerator did not work properly. The only this this property has going for it is the agency that represents it. They were very responsive and got someone out to look at the air that night. It did not help, but they tried. They gave us a full refund.

Beautiful view

This is about 12 minutes from the heart of Gatlinburg. The views were amazing. The host was very attentive during our visit. We were not upset with the stay, but things pointed out in previous reviews have not been addressed. The vents throughout the house are in need of assistance. Beds were comfy. The overall temperature of the house was warm (even for us Houstonians), but we did get permission to knock the temp down a few degrees. Having stayed at many places, it ranks in the middle. The point was to have a family vacation in the mountains and we did just that. We recommend Anakeesta for a visit!

Perfect Little Retreat

The location of our yurt was perfect for going to activities in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. It was quiet and peaceful. Plus the perk program from Xplorie saved us a bunch of money. I would definitely stay here again.
