We really enjoyed the experience at this home. We have stayed in Gatlinburg many times over the years, but this was by far one of the best views. The cabin was spotless, the owners were quick to respond, the kitchen was beyond equipped with everything we could need! It was impressive. The only thing that needed attention was the upstairs toilet gave our guests trouble the entire visit and it may be something you need to look into. I will also say the livingroom sitting area with the fireplace (though connected to the entire main level) was not as wide as it shows in the photos, but it is so cozy and we sat and played board games and watched movies (all 7 of us). The hot tub was great, the game room was an added bonus. Loved our stay and would recommend!

This place is a very nice place to stay and the location is good. If you do not like winding roads to get where you are staying then this place is not for you. A few complaints I have are that all of the outlets in the kitchen are wore out and things you plug in will just fall out of the plugs. There are a few gang box covers missing one for a tv cable and another in the ceiling from an old hardwired smoke detector. Both of these have wires hanging out. The view from the back porch is blocked by over grown trees that need to be trimmed to get the full view. Once this is corrected the view will be amazing. Overall a nice house the game room is nice and the hot tube worked well and was a great place to relax. We had some furry visitors pictures below. We did not feed them or leave food out, I believe they visit the cabin regularly. They did get into one of the vehicles that the door was left unlocked but did not destroy anything others than some muddy paw prints. A few things to be corrected and this would be an absolute 5 star review. There was very responsive communication with owners.

Great place! Everything is exactly as described. Bears come around at dinner time once they figure out you're there. We counted 6 different ones. Kitchen was well stocked. Plenty of extra blankets in drawers. Hot tub and game room were perfect. Bring all grilling items inside. One of the bears was happily using a grill brush to chew on.

Great getaway

The view is incredible! We were excited about the bears on our porch but they eventually became a nuisance. Very scenic drive to the top, you can hear and see over mountain from the porches.

Amazing!

We stayed here for our batchlortte/batchlor party with our friends & family & it was amazingly stunning! There was a leak though the window on the top floor right bedroom & the wall paper that filled up with water, that eventually bursted. Other than that, it was very cleanly, very well maintained & stocked with plenty of supplies. 9.9/10! :)

AMAZING

Every room has a bathroom! The view is the best! Easy to get to for being so high up! The owners respond quickly to any question. We even went through a storm, lost power, and it was restored quicker than I thought possible! More than I imagined was supplied… from sheets and towels to a coffee maker and crockpot!

Million dollar view

Total recommended we enjoy so much special when mama bear show up with her 4 cubs since day one and last day we loved so much definitely we didn’t cook out much because that beers but it’s ok you have so many good restaurants and down town Gatlinburg we definitely come back and rent the same place we loved and the kids desconect from electronics total recommend

We had our family get together to stay here. Overall it was an okay experience. Do not recommend if you have small children. The balcony inside the house has a beautiful hand carved bear scene but it is broken in multiple places and not sturdy, giving the chance for a child to fall to the next story down. The back deck is very big but it is VERY wobbly. There is another spiral staircase going to a private upper deck and it is very unsafe, with huge gaps in the railing where again a child could literally fall off the deck that is very high. There was a lot of dead bugs. Like a lot. I understood from the info we received that that is normal but the amount of dead bugs in there was rather gross and definitely should have been cleaned up prior to our arrival.

Nice cottage, but communication problem with the owners and property manager

The cabin was really nice with a great view of the mountains that we all enjoyed but we had some issues that we tried to communicate with the owner or property manager but did not get any response. 1. We were at the cabin at the check in time at 4pm but could not check in before 4:30pm as the cleaning was not completed, and we could not go inside until the cleaning people finish their cleaning job 2. We brought lots of burger patties and hotdogs when we saw the grill in the pictures and also in the listing details, but could not find the grill anywhere, we were all really upset about it 3. Some of the bedrooms smelled of smoking which was definitely unhealthy for our kids and for all of us, we never expect it to happen in any of our stays in cabins or hotels :( 4. The TV remote in the living room never worked and most of us could not really watch any TV. 5. One of the bedrooms did not have any hvac working so my friend had to really pop open the bedroom door for whole 2 nights of our entire stay hoping some air to come from other rooms. I texted in the VRBO app multiple times and made phone calls but nobody replied texts and calls during our stay. I only got a call back during our check out from the Bear Tracts customer service and I explained all again. I demanded that they adjust the booking price as we did not get the cabin as it was explained in the listing and there were more issues. I still hope that they hear me and give me some good discount for the inconveniences

Beautiful views

We had an amazing time at Bears on Ski's! There was 8 of us to celebrate our Mom's 60th birthday. Plenty of room for everyone and had everything we needed for our stay. The views are spectacular! We even had some unexpected guests, a mama bear and 2 cubs! Would definitely stay here again.

We had a great and enjoyed the cabin. Sone areas are in need of repair such as the base for hot tub, the grill, some exposed wiring/holes in walls and peeling paint on exterior. The deck was looking rough and some nails were sticking up. Never did get hot water at kitchen sink. On a positive note there was plenty of room, the furnishing were comfortable
