The house was perfect for our family. We had adults, teenagers and kids 6-9. There was something for everyone to enjoy. And space to enjoy family time. Kitchen was large enough to cook and hang out. Would highly recommend this house for a family getaway.

Just don’t be picky

We waited until just days before the trip to select our property. Many had been booked for the Veteran’s Day weekend. This place was decent and the location wonderfully close. Seems the management/cleaning company is failing the owner. Perhaps like many places, staffing is an issue. This property is for sure being neglected. The home appears to be an old house with a new addition. The new part is the living room and one of the bedrooms and bath. That first master bath’s shower curtain was disgusting. My sister would not shower in it until she bought a replacement. This home seems to have been renovated by part time handymen. Things not quite right, such as the various tile jobs, loose plumbing fixtures, semi functioning items thoughout, neglected drywall repair, hurried paint job, or old parts of previous light fixtures still being evident. The outside areas needed blown clear as leaves along with tree debris filled the house length drains. The drain flies didn’t seem to mind though and continued to reproduce inside and out. Dirt and trash in the dust pan shoved into the laundry area and the coffee maker had to be cleaned before use. I did send a notice about the shower curtain, coffee maker and dust pan to the owner during our stay and received no response. Overall, this place is a good value if you are not a detail person. If you are, pay a bit extra.

Fabulous property!!

This property has something for everyone! Pool is little, but served our purpose. House was immaculately clean and linens were plentiful. Our family or seven (teens and young adults plus mom and dad) had a wonderful few days here.

5 day stay vacation

The property was easy to access. We liked that the trolley was an option when out and about. There are some stores that are close by when in need for something. The outdoor area of the home was very inviting and relaxing. The kitchen was very equipped for preparing whatever meal with lots of cookware/utensils to choose from. The home does need some upkeep. The pullout bed in the bunkroom was ripped with the foam exposed, the top bunks were not clean, there was hair & dust. The dryer vent was not in the dryer. It was broken and resting on the baby highchair. The swinging chair outside came off of its chain link while someone was in it, thankfully that person(a 50lb 8 yr old child) was not hurt. The host was easy to communicate with.

Just as advertised!

There were 12 of us staying at this property and we were very comfortable here! The pool is smaller but the kids (8,10,12,12 &14) all enjoyed it. Deep enough to have fun for sure! The hot tub was excellent. The putting course was fun as was the basketball hoop. Everything included to have the best time with the amenities! House was clean and cool. We had a lot of fun and would stay again!

My husband and I booked this cabin for a 25th anniversary trip. The house was very clean and spacious. We loved the privacy of the pool and outside lounging area. Meera was very communicative the entire time and check in/out was seamless. We would definitely stay again!

Property was just as described. Before our stay, the communication was very good with the host providing plenty of options for local attractions and dining. The check in process was simple with no issues. Kids loved the hot tub. Throughout our stay, the communication with the host was incredible.

Perfect home away from home in the perfect location!

My family and I were blown away with the location of this property and the amenities it had to offer. All the little details were really appreciated. All the essential things to get you started and extras of things you may need at the same time! Beds were super comfy too! Really love that the home came already logged in to Netflix. Little touches like that truly stand out to me! A family member that had planned to go with us unfortunately had an emergency room visit the day before and needed an emergency procedure, leaving two people behind they kept our dogs and I reached out to Meera about this and without me even asking she credited back the pet fee! Just a short walk to the strip with a gorgeous view and my favorite part, the outdoor space! There really was something for everyone at this property and certainly enough room to spread out. Thank you for having us, we hope to be back soon!

Christmas getaway

We really enjoyed our stay here and overall it was a very pleasant experience. You’ll need to bring your own filters, coffee or K-cups if you enjoy coffee and extra shampoos/conditoner/soaps if you’re a larger group. This home is cozy, has beautiful outside lighting, and our family of 9 slept comfortably. The location is amazing and quiet. The view and sitting space on the patio is perfect especially from the hot tub! Thank you for the wonderful experience.

Everything was as expected. Good location. Clean and felt very safe. Could have had more linen ( towels , bed sheets, pillow cases, etc.). But, we had a big group ( 11 total ). Only negative we didn't like the 1/2 bath flushing into the side yard. Overall very good.

Great getaway

Such a wonderful stay. We had some issues reserving, but Meera was awesome helping us secure the rental. We were traveling with my elderly parents, so having everything on one floor was perfect! So much to do, but we mostly enjoyed the view. Location was very convenient and still be away from the crowds

Great Location!

The property was as described. Our grandchildren loved the pool and the games. It was nice to have a trolley pickup just a short distance away. The outdoor space was the best and was definitely used! We would definitely return to this property.

Great stay for family of 4!

Wonderful stay for our family of four+ dog! Our daughters loved the small pool. The hot tub was not operating when we visited but it wasn’t a necessity for us. Would recommend for those who enjoy being close to the downtown Gatlinburg area and may not be looking for a true wooded Smoky Mountain escape. For families with children, the layout was difficult for us to navigate sleeping arrangements. There are two bedrooms on one side of the house and the master on the other side. Truly not an issue but may be for families with littles. Loved having a washer/dryer so we went home with clean clothes. Kitchen was very well stocked too! We forgot coffee so if you need it like we do, bring your own!

Everything was great. The only thing I feel like I should mention is the entrance on to the road going to the chalet is in a difficult spot to see oncoming traffic. It felt like you basically had to take a risk every time you were entering or exiting the road due to it being located on a curve.

Family vacation

Property was just secluded enough yet still a very short distance to Gatlinburg and pigeon Forge. The grandkids, age 8 to 19, made daily use of the splash, pool, hot tub and basketball hoop. Accommodations were just as described. I am an avid reader, but was unable to use the living room for reading comfortably, and I’d suggest The addition of a table or floor lamp. That would have made this day perfect for me!

Perfect location

There is so much to say about this property. The location was perfect, we were able to walk downtown and the grocery store is just a short drive up the road. The home was spacious with plenty of seating and sleeping areas. The kitchen was stocked with all the necessary cooking equipment we needed and the bar between the kitchen and dining area was perfect for serving buffet style with my large family. Having 8 people in the house, I wish the washer and dryer were bigger, but we managed and I was able to not come home with all the laundry dirty. I also found a broom and vacuum to help keep things tidy during our stay, and a pack and play style crib for those who may need that. The beds were comfortable and clean. Outside surpassed my expectations. The splash pool was larger than I expected, clean and my family really enjoyed relaxing there. The hot tub was amazing and we enjoyed late evenings there when the outdoor lighting would come on. The deck seating was enjoyable and the views were beautiful. The only thing my family found missing was an outdoor dining area, that would have been a great addition.
