'Very comfortable and welcoming place! A real hidden gem not too far away from the city. The house and property and gorgeous, the breakfast is big and delicious, and the programs that they run are great. I attended a Reiki circle that I found very helpful and relaxing. The shiatsu massage chairs are also excellent. I would return and I will recommend Rising Star!'

'Suite was homely and cozy, downtown Peterborough is fairly accessible by car, and convenience store right down the road. The property has a beautiful garden visible from the patio with lots of birds visiting for those into birdwatching. Host was knowledgeable about attractions in the area, recommending multiple places for us to visit.'

'They were very kind and helpful at check in. Linens and bathroom were clean and they had one of those covers on the mattress so it prevents BB and it was very clean. Unfortunately there was a used water bottle in the room beside the bed between the table so maybe some lack of attention by housekeeping. Window wasn’t locked so I recommend checking. 'We stayed here for one night with our family of four (two kids) and had a great experience overall. The staff were very friendly and check-in was smooth. The room was very spacious with plenty of room for everyone and our bags. The beds were comfortable, though we did notice both beds were quite squeaky. The hotel has a very modern, vibrant vibe.
