'This place was very clean and accurately depicted. The area was very central to Funchal. It met our needs and the pool was a nice touch. The check-in process was a little bumpy with a few too many lock boxes regarding a gate that no one seemed to use. The owners and property manager did respond right away and we were able to work it out. You will be walking up steps to access this property.'

'We had been looking forward to our trip to Madeira, which we had prepared very carefully. It was our intention to travel to Madeira from 7/4/2020 - 18/4/2020. Daniel Oliveira and his son Igor always answered our questions and were always easy to reach! In our opinion, their house is well located. Close to Funchal and yet a bit higher and quieter, above the bustle of the city.... 'Overall the property, or indeed, our apartment was great. Clean, and all rooms to a very good standard. Location access was and could be tricky as pavement area requires you to be vigilant to oncoming traffic as you navigate the entry gate. Fantastic views of the landscape of Funchal and 5 minutes walk down the hill you'll find a bank, local cafe/bar, local supermarket and the most beautiful of churches.
