'Upon arrival the staff were very friendly, however things went down hill from there. We were shown to room 1( Spa Gill ) which looked really nice on the website. As we entered the room it looked nice and clean but the bed looked like the mattress was very thin and not quite what we expected. The bottles of water which were complimentary were really warm on an extremely hot day. There was no fridge or safe in the room, but a sign saying valuables are left at your own risk! It was kept spotlessly clean. The food was excellent; breakfasts were varied and excellent and the meal I had in the restaurant was also of a very high quality. 'The location was great, lots of parking spaces. Breakfast room and bar area very nice. Booked a Kingsize room everything looked tired, windows were dirty, very old and didn’t close properly. Had no bathrobes nor slippers in the room, wanted us to pay extra in a SPA hotel! Noise after midnight wasn’t managed well by staff.
