'The bed was clean, not top shelf comfy, but ok. There is a gas fireplace that did not turn completely off so the room got hot. Fortunately it was cool and the open window helped. There is an air conditioner too. Fairly quiet except during peak traffic times. The carpet and furniture were older. Centrally located near many, many coffee shops and restaurants! Parking was close. Overall a decent stay.'

'Fine hotel for a short stay. We had to take the ferry EARLY the next morning and this hotel was perfect for that. Rooms are a bit dated but clean. You could hear the people a bit from neighboring rooms but it was nothing too crazy. All in all a good place to stay for this price. '

'The manager was responsive and it was quiet. There were some cleanliness and general maintenance issues. The tub drain was full of hair, tub faucet handle fell off, bulb burned out. One of the mattresses needs replacing. Needs a good, deep cleaning. Coffee was good.'

'The Hideaway was absolutely blissful. We literally spent hours sitting in comfortable chairs and enjoying the views of Widbey Island just across the straight. It was tranquil beyond belief. The accommodations itself were superb, tastefully decorated and comfortable. Communication with the owner was seamless and pleasant. We very much wish to find opportunities to stay at the hideaway in the future--the entire experience was joy incarnate :-).'

'We liked that the property was within easy walking distance of downtown. The bathroom was very nice with double sinks and a nice hot shower. A few details to improve would be that some burners on the gas stove didn't work. The fan on the microwave would not turn off unless you unplugged it it had an error code s2d2. Also some pans had loose handles. Otherwise it was convenient clean and cozy.'

'Beach view was beautiful, lovely sunsets . Well stocked kitchen , comfortable beds, very pretty interior design . Fun beach theme . We all loved this place !! Highly recommend. '
