    The Retreat vient de terminer de nouvelles rénovations passionnantes pour rendre vos vacances Leatherwood encore plus agréables! The Retreat est une cabine de luxe offrant une vue panoramique sur les montagnes Blue Ridge. Cette cabane en rondins isolée est à l'abri des regards. Que vous recherchiez une escapade romantique ou une aventure en famille, la détente, des souvenirs de qualité et une évasion de tous les jours sont assurés. La retraite est professionnellement redécorée avec de nouveaux rendez-vous et de nouveaux meubles, qui maintiennent tous le caractère unique de la cabine rustique.

    La retraite est conçue pour être votre enclave de vacances et comprend trois niveaux, chacun offrant une vue imprenable sur les panoramas de Blue Ridge Mountain. Le niveau supérieur comprend une chambre principale avec salle de bain principale attenante qui mène à une mezzanine avec deux lits jumeaux, pouvant accueillir quatre personnes. Le niveau principal présente des plafonds voûtés avec une cheminée en pierre, une cuisine bien équipée et une salle de bains principale avec un bain à remous Jacuzzi et une chambre principale pouvant accueillir deux personnes. Le niveau inférieur a été conçu comme une "salle de réunion". Assistez à un jeu entraînant de baby-foot, à un film ou à la télévision par satellite sur un téléviseur Blu-ray / DVD de 52 pouces, ou jouez aux nombreuses offres du système de jeu Wii. Le niveau inférieur comprend également un lit queen-size et deux lits superposés "intégrés" sur mesure, pouvant accueillir quatre personnes supplémentaires.

    Outre le centre équestre de Leatherwood Mountain, ses sentiers d'équitation, ses étangs approvisionnés, ses sentiers de randonnée, sa piscine, ses terrains de tennis et ses terrains de jeux, The Retreat dispose de plus de 6 hectares de bois à explorer à côté d'un foyer en pierre Profitez d'un verre de vin ou s'mores lors d'une soirée fraîche. L’expérience Retraite comprend également un nouveau bain à remous pour 6 personnes situé dans le but de capturer une vue panoramique sur la montagne et de compléter votre détente.

from the moment you step in there is warmth, hospitality and beauty . we have stayed in many places - this was amongst the best. Very clean, beautifully decorated and just perfect . Needed A Retreat

Everything was beautiful and well furnished. There is one thing I would like to see improved. The TV service in the Living Room was outstanding and different than in the Master Bedroom. The Living Room television could be a little bit larger for us over 65 year old. I also serviced 20 years active duty in the United States Marine Corps. The choice of channels in the Master Bedroom is very limited. I believe having the same TV lineups in your Master Bedroom as in the Living Room would definitely would provide a good return on your investment. I mostly slept in the Living Room because I was watching the Downtown Abbey series which I could not get in the Master Bedroom. Lastly the incoming telephone number for The Retreat needs to be posted more VISIBLY. Wish I could have stayed longer!!!FIB 06/07/2022

Mountain “Retreat”

We have an amazing time at The Retreat. It was a beautiful view, great location and the kids had an amazing time. The house can fit a larger group and next time we’ll be sure to bring more family. There were plenty of things to do including horseback riding and hiking. The house was clean and had awesome decor. We’ll be back!

Beds were comfortable, it was very clean, tons of amenities, hot tube was so clean. The downstairs was so useful for the kiddos! We ate in most of the time other than the wedding. The restaurant could be a little more robust but the customer service was beyond amazing. Everyone was so nice and accommodating. The only down side was the roads getting there. I had no idea that the road would be that long or dangerous getting to the cabin. The driveway is also very steep. After we were there a few days we got used to it, but visiting the other family cabins was a long drive. But even with that being said we will for sure come back!! Hopefully every year!!

We had needed a family vacation for a long time and are always skeptical about places we have never been before. We chose The Retreat because of the photos and views and honestly, they didn't hold a candle to the real thing! This cabin exceeded our expectations in so many ways! It was extremely clean, well stocked with everything except food. We will definitely be back!

Great view but a little disappointed in property anenities

The house was amazing and had everything you needed…. Shampoo, coffee, creamer, towels, spices and other cooking basics like oil/butter. Bummed that they only do horseback riding and we’re booked both weekends we were there, the creek was too shallow to tube and the big fishing pond was dried up. The views were amazing and all the hams were appreciated on the rainy days.

We loved the house and property. The house was well appointed and very comfortable. It rained the entire time but we had everything we needed at the house to have a wonderful family weekend. The only negative thing I can say about the house is it’s infested with stink bugs.

A slice of heaven

Really a fabulous, breathtaking view. Sunsets and star gazing were phenomenal! The unit has two k cup coffee makers. Bring k cups! Kitchen was otherwise extremely well stocked otherwise. Everything you need! Hot tub was great as was fire pit and grill! Game room is a really nice bonus! Kept the kids entertained all weekend! Drive up to the property is steep and winding, be prepared in inclement weather. I would suggest bringing a pillow from home for adults, honestly my only complaint. Pillows in the master bedroom were nice but in other beds not so comfortable. Really fantastic location and views! Pretty clean although any mountain property is going to have stink bugs and we did, they didn't bother us much though and it wasn't a big deal. Thanks for your hospitality! Really enjoyed our stay!
