Authentic Alaskan Northern Lights Lodge in the Hills of Fairbanks

  • After a short 17 minute drive, you will be above the inversion layer and in the hills of Fairbanks! Located 5 minutes north of town, this cabin is in the PERFECT location. Escaping light pollution will insure you have the best chances to spot Northern Lights. It is also located less than an hour away from Chena Hot Springs, a natural hot spring with healing waters. During your stay you’ll be able to heat the house with the brand new BlazeKing wood stove or use conventional forced air heating through a smart EcoBee thermostat. The bedrooms are equipped with smart TVs and large king/queen beds perfect for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is stocked up with new appliances, spices, coffee, utensils and anything you may need to cook from home. Rest assured, the driveway is always clear of snow and well maintained making it accessible during all times of the year. Moose and other wildlife sightings aren’t uncommon in the backyard either so keep your eyes peeled! Please reach out if you have any questions about the property, I would love to answer them!!

It was great living in this house for 6 nights. It was convenient for tour the Fairbanks from here. It has everything you need for short period stay. Would like to stay in this house if come to Fairbanks again.

Great stay and a great place to bring our dogs. Loved being able to let them run around on the property. Cabin was as advertised and in a great location just north of town with easy access to amenities. Jacob was very welcoming and responsive to any questions we had. Will for sure try to stay here in the future!

Super clean property. Had everything we needed for our trip. I was amazed that they had quality hair products and other supplies on property. Everything was stocked like what you would have at home. The house was very quiet and peaceful. I would definitely recommend this property to others.

Jacob was extremely helpful providing recommendations for things to do, places to visit and sightseeing adventures! He truly wanted to make sure our first visit to Alaska was memorable and fun! What a great host to have! Cabin is as described, cozy, comfortable and close to down town Fairbanks. Thank you so much, Jacob! We truly enjoyed ourselves!

Jacob has curated an amazing cabin in the woods of Alaska. He quickly responded to our questions and handled situations that arose. This was our first time staying in a vrbo, and this stay has converted us from hotel-goers. Our trip to Alaska was 10 days long, and staying in a cabin/house allowed us to relax more than we can in hotels. Absolutely recommend this property & property owner.
