'We loved staying in Garden Cottage. It’s very comfortable and the garden is beautiful. We were very grateful for the welcome pack and the fresh flowers. It’s in a great position to visit Rye, Hastings, Lewes and there are plenty of country walks locally. A perfect place for a 4 day holiday.'

'We had a week in Dairy Barn. It is stylish and cosy, with pretty much everything we needed. We used the hot tub 3 times, which was a lovely treat, especially as we could enjoy the amazing view of the sweeping countryside too. Next time, we will try to time it for warmer drier weather so we can enjoy sitting outside more. My only gripe is that the only soft seating in the lounge area is a sofa bed. 'Primrose Lodge has everything you could wish for. The space has been thoughtfully and stylishly designed and is extremely comfortable. Everything provided for here - comfortable bed, huge bath, well equipped kitchen and a very efficient wood burner, with a generous supply of logs, that kept us warm and toasty through the recent cold spell. 'What a wonderful place to stay in Hastings. Our stay was during one of the hottest weeks of the year but the host left electric fans to keep us cool, which was perfect and it was a short walk to the beach so always the chance to cool down in the sea too. Also stated that I was gluten free upon booking and were left a lovely hamper that included gluten free snacks. Lovely touches to an already beautiful apartment.'

'We had a lovely stay at Amelia Cottage while visiting family in Battle. Such a nice and warm welcome from the owner. The cottage is very well equipped with everything you need. The garden is lovely and well maintained with many flowers. The location is perfect, it is close to the playground and to Battle High Street. The local supermarket Jempsons is only a few minutes walk away and that was also very handy. We will definitely book again!'

'Lovely cottage full of character. Lots of thoughtful touches such as shower gel, shampoo and kitchen essentials and the owner responded promptly to all our queries. The garden was an added bonus in the hot weather. Only two minor criticisms - firstly it wasn’t clear from the description that the bathroom (and therefore the only toilet) were on the ground floor. 'If you love a peaceful country retreat then this is for you. Wildlife all around. The owner could not be more helpful. Peacocks at the back door herds of dear and flocks of amazing rheas much better than advertised. You do need a car with good clearance for the track through the forest but it's worth it as it all ads to the amazing adventure. Thank you once again to our host Martin who meets guests at the gate to lead you through the forest.'

'We instantly felt at home in this holiday house – and so did our dogs! Everything was super clean, nicely decorated, and had everything we needed - and much more. The fully fenced garden was a big plus, so our dogs could run around freely.There were even bowls, towels, and some treats for the dogs (and also for us)– such a thoughtful touch!
