'We’ve had consistently pleasant experiences with other locations, which is why this one stood out for the wrong reasons. The pool appeared to have a noticeable buildup on the walls, which was concerning. Our room was also missing several basic items like towels and covers for the pullout couch bed, which made things inconvenient. Overall, this stay was disappointing, but based on our past experiences, we believe this location is more of an exception than the norm.'

'The price was higher than the usual Marriotts but it was lower class than the usual Marriots. This hotel was far from downtown 20 minutes. Not much decorated No breakfast included, rooms and everything overall outdated. The restroom has no vents, humidity rises quickly. Cleanliness was ok. Looks like they didn't change some towels or vacuumed completely in some areas. Dusty vent. Outside the window was a large intermodal storage container. 'Unit was equipped with a small kitchenette- but great breakfast was served in common area on first floor, including egg/potato sausage and biscuits and gravy. Fruit cereal and juices available, in addition to coffee. Staff worked hard to make sure things were well stocked. The room was comfortable and shower was good!'

'Nice and clean hotel, good location/area. We didn’t realize breakfast was not included so that was the only thing we didn’t like.'

'We had breakfast on property and would do it again. The staff, amazing. The food, amazing! They made omelets to order, had fresh fruit and as we are from the south we thought it cute they called grits and cheese a breakfast special. '

'The poolside wing had a strong bleach smell, and the original room was unbearable. Thankfully, the staff handled it well and moved us to a different room.'

'Breakfast was amazing. We got the last room in the hotel, so it was ADA and barebones but very clean. Next time I think we will check in early but definitely will stay at a TRU again!'
