Blokhutten in East Central Iowa

'Check in and out was really easy. A beautiful place! The cabin was comfortable and well stocked. Bellevue is my hometown and it is a wonderful place to visit and stay. The cabin is right on the Mississippi River. '

'We really liked our small little cabin. Hot tub was a definite bonus. The only thing I didn't love was the crowdedness of the sleeping area. Which I knew it would not be very big because of the small cabin itself, but it just seemed complicated to navigate. Of course we're not very young either.'

'Everything with the house was excellent for our family to enjoy. We appreciated the middle of the night snow removal. The owner called us to tell us the 2” snowfall would be taken care of, a very nice gesture.1'

'This is such a great place! It was perfect for our family of 4. Our 14 and 12 year old loved the loft space, and my husband and I were super comfy in the bedroom. The lower level was great for family time in the evening, and where we all hung out at the end of the day. The property surrounding was so peaceful and helped us feel completely relaxed. We have land at Lake Carroll, and this was an easy 20 minute drive. Looking forward to staying here again when we come back!'

'The house was the perfect size for the two of us and our dogs. It felt very private and was well kept.One note is the house is on an unpaved street, which made it difficult to go out walking on our trip as it rained a lot and even when it wasn’t the road was very muddy. Can’t control the weather though!'

'The property location is private and peaceful, but also close to downtown for food and activities. Beth provided a lot of great recommendations for activities and dining that did not disappoint. The house was clean with all the comforts of home and was well themed/coordinated. The hot tub was easy to use and very clean, and the deck was a nice spot to relax.'

'What a wonderful stay. Donovan was outstanding, perfect communication and the cabin was lovely. Legit 5 min walk to Palisades for awesome exploring. Fully recommend.'
