Great space rooms and good facilities like a pleasant swinging pool. We did eat in York before our arrival but the restaurant seems good, the breakfast there was excellent. Good place to stay when visiting York.'

'Groot hotel, met veel oudere gasten die met bus komen. De kamer was erg klein. Je kon nauwelijks om het bed heen komen. Eten: erg veel en met weinig liefde bereid. Leuk ongedwongen personeel. Fraai aangelegd park met zitgelegenheid. Toegankelijk voor rolstoeler, maar geen aangepaste kamers genoeg voor alle hulpbehoevende mensen.'

'Our stay at Monkbridge was outstanding from the moment we arrived. In fact even before arrival with the informative welcome email explaining check in and directions etc. We were so warmly welcomed and shown to our room, everything explained so well. We stayed in room 1 which had a beautiful four poster bed, it was so gorgeous. Immaculately clean. So traditional and individual yet had all the modern comforts of a posh hotel. With complementary tea coffee and home made biscuits even a welcome...

'Excellent site with great parking, accepts dogs into the pod and the costs of a one night stay we found very reasonable. Not many pod owners have just one night stays and that's why we stayed there. Give it a bash. '
