'This is a fantastic property. Very spacious, clean and comfortable. Although close to the main road (and easy access to local amenities, walks and beautiful beaches), it is quiet and peaceful. The kitchen is very well stocked and we enjoyed having the pool/ping pong table in the lounge. Would love to return for another stay.'

'Clift Hill is a fabulous place to stay. We were a group of 20 friends and family and we loved the house. It's extremely clean, well equipped and comfortable. It has impressive rooms and views but it also feels very homely. The kids (aged between 4 and 11) had a brilliant time exploring the house and gardens, playing with the games and outdoor play equipment and taking over the hot tub.'

'Even the drive along the narrow lane some minutes away from property highlights you are going somewhere special. A location that cannot be bettered, the house was spacious with bags of character. We all just loved the place. Surrounding countryside beautiful and lets pay a little tribute to village cafe in Auchencairn. Don't go to Kippford and not visit Auchencairn 10 mins away.'

'Lazydays is a really lovely cottage down a side street (parking outside no problems at all). It's a minutes walk to the main street with lots of choices to eat and some nice walks. Great communication from the owner. Definitely recommended !'

I had no concerns about the dogs in the garden with the high and fully secure fence and all rooms were spacious to accommodate us. This was our third stay in Southerness and most certainly the best property we have stayed in. We will be back.'

So much nature to see just at the lodge, lots of bunnies and birds & some inquisitive cows 😊 we had a wonderful stay & would definitely stay again in the future. Bij aankomst lag er ook een dode vogel in de houtkachel, en we hebben er drie levende uitgehaald tijdens ons verblijf, dat was minder leuk. Het was wel fijn, dat we dicht bij de zee waren, nog geen 5 minuten lopen. Het tuinset was niet veel bijzonders..4 stoelen voorzien van roest voor een 6 persoonshuisje... tijdens ons...
