'Ik kreeg na het boeken meteen een mailtje van Halong Phoenix cruiser met vragen over dieet etc. De volgende dag werd ik opgehaald bij mijn hotel in Hanoi, ik moest voor de heen en terug reis 20 dollar betalen. de reisleider was een vriendelijke man. Aan boord verliep alles soepel, de kamer was klein maar netjes met een fijn bed en prima badkamer. Het eten was echt geweldig! 'Beautiful property on a lovely little island with easy access to Ha Long Bay. Free bikes to ride around the island, and easy walking distance to shops, restaurants, and the marina. The service with Ms. Kim and Mr. Phoenix was outstanding!'

'Good value for money, staff were great, food was plentiful and fresh, rooms could do with a spruce up but comfortable bed and had own bathroom/toilet. Crew were really helpful and they made the trip fun for all passengers. Squid fishing was fun and making Vietnamese spring rolls. Disappointing to see so much trash in the sea, although this is out of control of this particular cruise boat.'

'Fantastic luxury cruise in Ha long and Lan Ha with Calista. We went for the 3 day 2 night option, which was excellent, as there was plenty of time to enjoy the facilities as well as the excursions and sights. The staff were fantastic and did their utmost, delivering great service during the whole trip. Food was also excellent. Suite was also excellent - we went for one with a private jacuzzi, which added to the experience. Can strongly recommend this cruise. '

'Trip from the wharf on the tender (boat big enough to fit 40 or so people) took about 40 minutes to get out to the boat moored out in Halong Bay. Had set menu lunch and dinner tasting menu food was good. Room was comfortable and air conditioning worked well. Bathroom nice with porthole window in the shower. Activities were good including kayaking, squid fishing and visit to cave. Favourite activity for the family was the karaoke. Pool was a very big spa that was well utilised. Shuttle transfer...
