'One of the best hotels in Shanghai, with a President's and Royal suite that has been used by the big and powerful people on Earth. A few years ago they were overbooked and I got the president's suit (in basic state, of course - if a real president would show up for sure all tapestry and so on would be changed). This time a normal suite. Hotel is somewhat ageing, but still top class - something you pay for, of course. All amenities and staff are flawless. Great garden. '

'Zeer behulpzaam en vriendelijk personeel, bijvoorbeeld bij ontbijt werd er speciale latte of andere drankjes op verzoek gezet door Yoyo of Shirley. Ook leuke gesprekken met goede reistips door local Shirley. Uitgebreide opties van zowel Chinees als westers ontbijt. Zeer snel en adequaat geholpen toen we service centre belden wegens defecte koffer. Schone kamers. Goede ligging bij metro en tegenover Jing An. Niet te druk maar ook zeker centraal gelegen in de buurt van diverse malls/plaza. Taxi...

'Had a lovely 5 nights at this hotel. Room was very clean and modern, it's a newer property with nice fitout. Not much happening in the lobby but gym and pool looked good (didn't use).Lots of restaurants around. Nice stay!'

'This is a perfect place for those preferring bigger space, self simple cooking and laundry doing, etc. it is located in one of the best areas, which is not only safe, also full of culture elements of Shanghai. With subway station near by, it is very convenient for those who want to get around the city. I would stay there again if I ever visit Shanghai again.'
