'Ontbijt was gratis bij hotelkamer.
Echter werden we in een apartement gestopt, vanwege tekort aan kamers...en toen moesten we het ontbijt 100 pesos = 7€ pp betalen.
Dit hebben ze later teruggedraaid..

'It is in a residential area :10 minutes walk from bus terminal and about 15 minutes to the city center. Ask for a taxi transfer if you have heavy luggage or wheeled luggage. The cottage house is among the most beautiful, we have stayed in, with tasteful collections, overlooking a garden with lupines and a far view of lake argentina. Hosts, living close by, are very responsive, helpful and hospitable. We enjoyed our stay and hope to have spent substantial more time . '

'Clean, spacious room, perfect proximity to bus stop, easy and scenic walk to the main strip with all the shops and restaurants, and walkable to the boardwalk by the water too. Breakfast was easy and perfect (self serve toast, croissants, cereal, and eggs by request). Receptionists were very kind and helpful. I enjoyed my stay so much that I booked two more times. It’s simple yet modern. Felt like home to me. '

'We really liked Alto Verde Hosteria. The room was comfortable and it has a good location. You can walk everywhere easily. We got daily breakfast that was great to start the day before going on our tours, even in early morning hours. Mrs. Lilia was wonderful and super friendly. I would recommend Alto Verde Hosteria. '

'Let's start with saying that this hotel is good value for money and the views over Lago Argentino are great. The location allows you to walk to the town center in 35 to 40 minutes, but a taxi only cost 2000 ARS.

Hotel Los Canelos in El Calafate has proven to be an excellent choice. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast is a bit more modest, typical for Argentina, but good enough to start the day.
To my surprise, the hotel offers a laundry service. A bag of 5 kilos of clothing for (American) $20. By Argentine standards, that is cheaper than I expected. By the way, we got the laundry back clean and folded the same afternoon.
