It spans the Crooked Creek, site of Civil War Skirmishes under Nathan Bedford Forrest. Many relics have been found around this creek and can be viewed at the museum just down the road. This bridge is open to foot traffic and also offers picnic areas and walking trails. An old water mill is located on the property too. #roadtrip

The booking and communication with the homeowner was just perfect. He made sure we were aware of other amenities that were available. Also advised us to make sure to contact him if there was anything not up to expectations. The drive in was literally breathtaking with a couple of squeals included as we descended. Once you level off and see amazing views of the lake there is such peace! The house was as incredible as the listing portrayed with all the needed accessories. The only thing I would change is for us to have had more time at the house. My family had come in from out of state to attend my son's wedding so we were on the go the majority of the weekend.

Point William

House was excellent! Kids loved the upstairs bunk beds and the adults loved the separate bedrooms. Plenty of bathrooms for everyone as well. The deck upstairs and the screened porch was also pleasant at night. Short walk to the dock and not a lot of traffic on the water makes it really nice. 10/10 would recommend.

Perfect Fall Break Getaway

We spent a wonderful long fall break weekend with our kiddos and their friends at this great property! The boys loved fishing all hours of the day and night! The dock and dock toys were great! The area is so peaceful and quiet. The perfect place to disconnect and recover from busy days!

Crooked Creek Location

The house is better than advertised!! A really nice set up for 6 adults and 5 grandkids. Water access is easy, for Smith Lake and renting the pontoon for a few days was a hit. So many water toys to chose from too! We’ll be back!!

Family Vacation

We had a wonderful stay at this property. We had plenty of room for our large multi family vacation. The location was perfect and the kids had fun with the lily pad, paddle boards and other water toys. We will definitely be back!

Great Family Vacation!

Beautiful home and great location on the lake! Neighborhood was very peaceful! The house was very nice, clean and well stocked! Owner was always helpful and quick to respond! we rented the boat, and definitely recommend adding this. Boat was very nice and added alot of fun! Highly recommend…We will for sure visit this property again!!

We took our children and their spouses and two children until four years of age for a few days get-away. We loved having the two living room areas so the kids could play comfortably. We rented the boat for one day and everyone agreed it was the best day! Great space for families!

Family 4th of July

We had a great week staying here for the 4th of July. The house was the perfect size for our family of 11. The kitchen was very well stocked with any and everything that we needed. Our favorite was the boat! It was very nice and included the tube, skiis, wakeboard, etc. The owner and maintenance man were both very easy to communicate with and handled any problem/question that we had very quickly. Would definitely recommend!!

Fantastic Family Vacation Place

This lake house was the perfect place for our family! We had plenty of room to spread out and enjoy Smith Lake. We cooked on the Weber grill every day and enjoyed the gorgeous sunsets from the deck. The pontoon boat and water toys were perfect for the teenagers and young adult grandchildren too. We are already making plans to return!

Awesome Family get away

Our family of 3 generations had the most wonderful vacation at Point William. The house was comfortable and well appointed. It was well equipped with everything we needed for cooking, grilling and games for the kids. The dock, water toys and boat were fantastic. The community pool was a great bonus. Everything was clean and well cared for. Thank you for your hospitality. We had a most memorable time.

Great for family vacay!

We rented for a family 4th of July vacation. The owners made it so easy- easy driving directions, good directions for getting boat gas & for a small grocery, it’s easy taking the boat out, has lots of outdoor chairs, lake & water toys, short walk to the pier & dock, & plenty of space for everyone. It’s on a pretty point. This is a great house which we would rent again.

Spectacular View

This is a wonderful property with an amazing view of Crooked Creek. The house sits right against the water with an easy walk to the dock. We had a great time celebrating my Mothers 80th birthday and several other May birthdays in the family. There was plenty of space for everyone to hang out and enjoy a great Memorial Day weekend.

Great Girls' Weekend

When we book a trip, the priority for our friend group is a warm, pleasant place to gather, access to a grill, lots of natural light, a great view, and great sleeping situations. This location knocked it all out of the park. We loved the separate living spaces. The kitchen was large and spacious. We enjoyed the house so much we didn't even make it down to the dock or up to the pool!
