'Helaas bij aankomst geen schone kamer. Personeel is vriendelijk en wil op verzoek je vragen beantwoorden en oplossen. Vuile handdoeken die op de grond lagen, hingen later weer aan het handdoekenrek. Lijkt niet helemaal lekker te lopen. Ontbijt is goed, avondeten is echt veel te duur in verhouding van wat je krijgt. '

'Such a nice and cosy little hotel. It's like an Inn, which is as said the oldest in the UK. You really breathe the middle ages, so awesome. Breakfast and dinner are super. Most friendly staff. The rooms and bathrooms are a bit small, but that's just fine because that fits such an historic place. Together with the beautiful surroundings of the Cotswolds, highly recommended. '

'The Old Stocks was our favorite stay in the UK despite having stayed at many 5 star hotels. The outside patio is beautiful and relaxing. We loved our breakfast server who showed us a nest with baby doves. The avocado toast was incredible! The location is perfect for hitting all the shops in Stow and for visiting other towns. They have designed the hotel in a way where it has character and a funky modern style. Can’t recommend enough!'

'Fantastic hotel and restaurants very friendly and helpful staff My only suggestion is to remove any and all carpets from the rooms I found my room musty and damp because of the carpets and rainy weather Other than that excellent place to stay'

'The online photos failed to live up to the actual accomadations. An Example, the room was smaller then appears in the photo. The patio felt short of the photos and need to be cleaned. The most concerning was the mold in the shower. TV was small and ackwardly placed on the wall for viewing. Positive parking was great and everything was in Walking distance. Comfortable bed and nice linens. Also the staff was friendly.'
