'Rooms are great, staff is amazing, but seriously, EAT AT THE RESTAURANT. I know, it’s like “oh, it’s the hotel restaurant, whatever”. I kid you not, the restaurant is AWESOME. The French toast breakfast is particularly good, as are the prime rib sliders and fries. '

'The hotel is an older treasure! The 24' lobby with soaring columns with golden frieze around the tops are stunning. There is a great grand piano in the lobby that guests on our other frequent visits have played beautiful music on. The food and service in the restaurant very good. The rooms are not huge and neither are the bathrooms, but they are clean, comfortable and the decor is interesting - with letters and postcards from the early 1900s. 'I loved staying here! The cabin was clean and had everything I possibly needed (toiletries, dishes, soap, appliances, TV with movies). The bed was comfortable (and for someone who had back surgery less than a year ago, that's saying a lot). Check in was easy and no contact. They provided guest guide once I got in my cabin and it had all the information I needed. It was in a good location, close to Allen Street but enough of a distance that it was quiet and peaceful.
