The property was well maintained, very clean, and inviting. Had all the necessities and kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils etc. The elevator was so helpful for packing and unpacking! There were so many options for things to do even on the rainy days, utilizing the pool table, rec center, etc. We thought it was an awesome place to stay, and hope to come back next year! The only negative was the master bath Whirlpool tub didn’t function, but the second floor one did so I just used that one. James was very polite and responsive and I highly recommend Heavenly Sound for your Corolla get away!

Our stay was amazing! Check in and out was flawless! Everything about this home was great!! Kitchen fully stocked, plenty of bedroom space, living space, bathrooms! Pool and hot tub were great! Outdoor shower and bar area spot on! The kids loved the basement space with pool table, and the bikes!! Elevator was a game changer for luggage, groceries, and my parents! Beach chairs and umbrella, lounge chairs by the pool! Grill was great amenity! We plan to book this house for next year’s vacation! It was perfect for our family!! Hosts were great when communicating back and forth. We loved it!!

Best spot!

We’ve stayed at Kitty Hawk, nags head, and kill devil hills, but This was our first time staying in Corolla. We wanted a spot that we could have fun staying in, this was the perfect spot! So much to do! The pool was closed due to the time of the year, but there’s the hot tub, pool table, bikes, a kayak, games, and path to walk to the sound with a beautiful view! Also, super close to multiple beach access’s, shops, and restaurants.10/10 highly recommend!

Beautiful

The house was absolutely gorgeous with a beautiful view of the sound. It was huge. There were 8 of us and we never got in each others way. It was very well stocked. Everything we needed was in walking distance pretty much. The property manager was very responsive to all our needs. I would definitely stay there again.

Heavenly!

Beautiful house overlooking the sound. Very clean with a very well stocked kitchen. Amazing sunsets. We were a party of 7 adults,2 kids and a baby. Everyone enjoyed our stay. The pool was a big hit. Loved everything about obx. We will definetly be back.

A Heavenly Stay!

We’ve rented homes in OBX for over 30 years and this one will go down as one of our favorites! The home is clean and beautifully decorated, and the soundfront sunsets are amazing. The owners thought of everything our large family might need on vacation— a well-stocked kitchen, many games, puzzles and books, plus bikes, kayaks, and pool toys. Our family has never stayed soundside, but this home has changed my opinion — the neighborhood is quiet and shady, the Corolla Light amenities and activities are awesome, and the home’s proximity to the charming Corolla Village shops is a short bike ride away. We hope to return to Heavenly Sound in years to come!

Best one yet!!

The house was amazing. Updated and newly renovated makes this home the best we have ever rent. It accommodated all age groups. An elevator for the older group to the pool tableand game room for the young kids. The location give us amazing views and easy access to the beach, ice-cream store, community pool and all within walking distance or a short bike ride you pick!! Space, location, views, fishing, and great hosts makes this home our first choice next year.

Great trip

The house was very comfortable and well appointed. Had fun with the bikes provided and even played in the pool. The kitchen was wonderful for our meals and the view was terrific. Overall a great week and would do it again in a heart beat.

This home has the best stocked kitchen! If you love cooking in while in OBX, this is your place. It had everything we needed for our family meals…and then some! Incredibly clean and beautiful decor! Amazing sound side view and access to the beach and other amenities!

Heavenly Sound... True name

An amazing week in the Outer Banks at Heavenly Sound! Osprey fishing in the pond and sound took victory lap flyovers right by the house and dine in the trees nearby. Trolley that takes you to the oceanside pool complex and beach. Fantastic family friendly location and beautiful house for a family to stay at.

Fortieth wedding anniversary.

We absolutely loved the property. My wife and I were there celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary with our children and grandchildren. The house was beautiful and the third floor living area was amazing. We were eight adults, two children, two toddlers and an infant. We were all very comfortable with the accommodations . Spacious living areas and large bedrooms. We spent evening’s on the back porches looking at beautiful sunsets. The pool and hot tub were great. We were close to the beach, restaurants and activities. Wonderful property. We had a great time.

Best sunsets!

House was spacious enough that no one ever felt on top of each other with our larger group. We cooked dinners at home a few days and there was everything you needed in a well stocked kitchen. Balcony was great for sunsets and the pool area was nice on our few warmer days to sit outside. We loved that we could walk to the sport complex & that plenty of stores were near by which was convenient. There is also lots to explore in the local area too! Owners were helpful and responsive. We would stay here again.

October Visit

Overall this home was the perfect size and location for our six couple party. We used many of the community amenities along with the property pool, hot tub and bicycles. The beautiful home had a huge well stocked kitchen and large dinning area that was plenty of room for all of us to be together. The great room furnishings allowed everyone to spread out comfortably, and the location of the bedroom suites gave each couple their privacy when needed. This home would be the perfect size for families too. It offers a number of areas for games and TV watching too. We were close to the communities beach offerings and walked every morning to take in each unique sunrise while experiencing the sunsets from the back deck of the property. I would suggest power washing the outside windows, decks and siding to cleanup from the season of spider webs and bug droppings. I know homes near water tend to have a hard time keeping up with spiders. It is not unusual. There were a few palmetto bugs inside also, so a pest control program might be warranted. We all had a great time and would rent the same property again. Thanks so much!

Just Heavenly

We were not disappointed in any way, shape, or form. From the moment we drove onto the property until we drove off 1-week later, we did not want for anything. We used the pool, hot tub, bikes, pond for fishing, grill, and pool table. We went on a Wild Horse Adventure Tour (recommended company secondary to vehicles and guides) and would not recommend driving on the beach yourself. Simply enjoying the sunset each night from the third floor was a joy! The many different outdoor areas to enjoy the view and/or animals were plentiful; favorites included the swing, the glider rocker, and the Adirondack rockers. The beach is a short drive and easy to park and enjoy. Finally, the kitchen has everything you can imagine, as we cooked full meals every night. Thank you Kathy for sharing your beautiful home with us!

Beautiful Family Getaway

Gorgeous home with AMAZING sunsets 🌅 Home was very clean and comfy. (We seemed to visit during the peak of spider season, so they seemed to be everywhere outside. But I assume it is a seasonal thing.) Pool and hot tub were well cared for and the home was a fantastic place to relax with family ♥️
