'This resort is a gem! We stumbled across it when we needed an overnight stay prior to a next day train ride. If we would have known, we would have spent at least 3 days. The owner and staff are a delight, the atmosphere and grounds and pool area are gorgeous! The rooms are very clean and comfortable. We had an amazing dinner with a Tuscan sunset and great wine! Breakfast was wonderful. We will definitely be back.'

'Beautiful, seculded hilltop estate with great view and beautiful grounds. Nice pool. Hosts were warm and inviting and dinner of regional cuisine was good. Rooms are large and relatively sparse with minimal amenities, and beware there is no A/C. Breakfast was simple. They produce award winning olive oil available for purchase.'

'We had a wonderful stay. Everything was excellent: the accommodations, the atmosphere, and especially the people, who were incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout our visit. The only issue was finding the property. To be fair, La Casella provided very clear directions and specifically advised us not to rely on GPS. 'Een juweeltje om rustig te vertoeven en toch in de nabijheid van verscheidene dorpjes en het centrum van Assisi. De accommodatie is veel meer dan je van een B&B mag verwachten. Alsook was de gastvrijheid van de eigenaar en zijn gezin top! Een aanrader!!'
