« I have often stayed at this hotel when travelling for business in the area and it never disappoints. The service, staff, ambience, excellent food and easy car parking, makes it a must stay. Always a genuine welcome and the pwners / staff happy to chat whilst you're there. Fantastic breakfast and a great dinner menu, congrats to the chef for thier consistent wonderful, tasty food. »

« The Marlborough is a pub with tasty food and about five rooms for overnight stays. The staff is outstanding and does everything possible to be helpful. It is on a central street of a very small town, so it can be a bit noisy during the day and early evening, but is quiet at night. The rooms have nice versions of all the basics, including a good bed and excellent shower. There are few extra amenities beyond the room and pub, although the breakfast was very good. « Hôtel qui aurait bien besoin d’un rafraîchissement. Le matelas n’était pas confortable. On entendait les clients de la chambre au-dessus se déplacer (grincements). Pas d’isolation phonique (bruits de la rue). Les petits déjeuners sont chers pour ce qui était proposé. »

« Nice tidy and clean room that looked like it had been recently fitted out. Decent sized Kitchen at each end of the corridor i didn't use them but they looked fully kitted out and new. The hotel is on a quiet residential street but took me 5mins to walk into the town centre which has loads of bars, shops and restaurants. Worth calling ahead of arrival and they'll reserve you a parking spot (There aren't many spots) Nice bloke on reception showed us our rooms and kindly found me a fan. »

« Cet hôtel est près de la sortie de l’autoroute, près de notre famille. Le service parfait, la salle de bains un peu vieillotte (bathroom little old) mériterait un coup de jeune mais très propre. Manque une universel’ plug pour nous Français for us French people. We used to reserve in this hotel it’s perfect for us. »
