'This place is the best setting!! Right on the beach! We loved watching all the traffic in the evening and enjoyed the music. I was there for work and the noise from the street didn't bother me sleeping. I had two of my grands who live in Charleston come up for a night. We beached it, shopped, ate great seafood, went to a water park and walked the pier!! Would def stay again. The parking was a pain but the garage was really close. '

'The rooms were very clean, they are under new management and they are replacing the carpet with hardwood floors, the hot water was a little slow getting up to our room..but once it did I could take a long hot shower...I loved it. I'm very excited about the changes coming up in the near future. Ive been coming to the Oceanfront Viking Motel for decades and this was one of my best stays. I would encourage everyone to give them another chance before they make a final decision on the establishment....
