Rose and Graham could not have been more gracious and accommodating as we planned our stay in Christchurch. SH1 was perfectly situated for access from CHC airport upon arrival, and walkable to nearby cafe and restaurants, along w. a chemist. Easy distance to Merivale or Northlands for groceries and other provisions, and quick navigation to University of Canterbury and Riccarton Bush by car

In Christchurch to watch some golf

We came to Christchurch for 5 nights to watch a golf tournament. The location was great, the place is spacious, comfortable and Rose set it up so that we could have the 2 singles as a king in the bigger bedroom. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hopefully we will return next time we’re in Christchurch.

What a great spot, what a lovely place!

Perfection. I'm a fairly heavy user of hotel chains, apartment rentals, and other forms of accomodations, and it's been a true delight to stay here for my Christchurch visit this week. Everything was amazing. Everything was lovely - even the rain and hail, seemed to make the stay more pleasant in this place.

Great location and home

We had a great stay. Wry comfortable place. Was a bit surprised at how Close the property was to a busy main road. It was quite noisy outside but fine inside. Very well equipped and comfortable. Would have liked some wine glasses and there wasn’t a coffee machine which had been listed - however these weren’t anything major. Overall good value for money and a really great option for us as a much more homely alternative to a hotel. Thanks so much Rose!
