'We waren op Loire reis en na het kasteel van Chenonceau zochten we hotel om onze tocht naar het kasteel van Chambord te vervolgen. Dit hotel lag er tussen de beide kasteels in en had wel wat. De kamer zijn allemaal ingericht naar een bepaalde stad, Havanna, en dat had wel wat. De kamer was netjes en ook de badkamer gewoon goed, zelfs een apart toilet. Er was zelfs een vergrotende make up spiegel hetgeen zeer prettig was en je zelfs in duurdere hotels niet tegenkomt. Het eten in het restaurant...

'Chateau is lovely, grounds are splendid, beautifully restored and kept. staff are kind and helpful. Do not eat here the food is terrible. Dinner was horrendous and certainly not worth the money, everything else was fine, a terrible shame!'

'We had a wonderful holiday at le moulin de la follaine. Its a calm and quiet, lush place and a great location from which you can travel to all the wonders of the pays Loire. We stayed at the gite, resembling a cute cottage, for a week and a half. There is a beautiful private garden when you rent the gite, but the whole premise (pond included) is accessible, very pretty and filled with animals such as 4 great cats, geese and chickens.
