The space
This Lakeview condo unit has its own private entrance, loft ceilings, updated appliances, and detailed touches to make you feel at home away from home! Located in the heart of Lakeview, within walking distance to Wrigley Field - home of the 2016 World Series Champions The Chicago Cubs (woo hoo!), close to transportation that can take you downtown within 20 mins, Boystown, transportation, parks, golf course, attractions and is located 2 block from the beautiful lake shore! There is a queen bed in the main bedroom and a blow up mattress in the closet. The condo sleeps 4 comfortably. The condo is a high ceiling unit with exposed piping as it is a loft-style condo. Therefore, you may get your occasional noises from the water/heat, and some basic rumblings as expected from any usual condo complex. :) The unit however is located off a quiet residential side street, so you won't get much traffic or honking noise whatsoever.
LOCATION:
At the unit I have a binder full of my favorite restaurants and activities in the area, as well as tips on transportation!
Wrigley Field, home of the Chicago Cubs is about 3 blocks away. Broadway street's wonderful shopping and dining is around the corner, as well as Halsted street's Boystown neighborhood. Downtown Chicago is a short 15-20 min (depending on time of day with traffic) bus, cab, or train ride away. The Belmont harbor is right next door across lake shore highway--which is home to tennis courts, a dog park, an enjoyable walking and bike path, bike rentals, and a stunning view of the lake and city! Andersonville is also just a short bus ride north of the unit, and Lincoln Park is just south- You can even walk there using the Lake shore path along the lake, just 1 block from the condo.
You are roughly 15 mins by car from Loyola University and about 25-30 mins from Northwestern University. If you need any assistance with getting around please let me know, my management team and I would be more than happy to help!

TRANSPORTATION:
The CTA train is roughly 3 blocks from the unit. The trains can take you all the way north to Loyola and Northwestern, or south towards downtown.
The 146 and 151 buses are only 1 block away from the unit and those can get you down to the Magnificent Mile/Downtown in roughly 10-15 mins depending on the time of day. The 146 bus can also bring you up north if you need.
I highly recommend using the CTA (train system) or Uber in the city. UberX and UberPool are affordable and quick ways to get around.

PARKING:
I can provide parking passes to guests for only $5/day. These passes will allow you to park anywhere in the surrounding streets that is not pay for parking. Payment for passes can be done via (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN), Chase Quick Pay, or (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN). Please ask about parking passes before your arrival so we can leave them on the counter for you. Parking passes are good for 24 hours and the date and time should be written on each one, and left on the passenger side dashboard for parking attendants to clearly see.
There are also external sites such as SpotHero and ParkingWhiz that allow you to find affordable parking spots throughout the city- these are popular for longer stays if you want your own garage or designated space.
Guest access
The unit has its own private entrance. Instructions for check-in will be sent via email once the reservation is confirmed. If there are any questions we will be available to help answer them for you, of course!

Guests will be provided all linens, pillows, towels, shampoo, hair dryer, etc. during their stay.
The condo has a washer/dryer in the unit for your use.
There is a 55" flat screen TV that is equipped with basic cable, Netflix, Amazon, Pandora access and more.
Guests have access to coffee and espresso machines as well as essential appliances and cooking tools during their stay.

Check in time is 3pm and check out time is 11am. If you need to drop bags of early, our cleaner will allow you to do so while she finishes the unit, however please notify us in advance to ensure this is OK. Thanks!

The apartment is set up so you have everything you'll need during your stay here in Chicago. We hope to make your trip out here as enjoyable as possible!
The property is absolutely pet friendly! The additional cost for the entire stay to accommodate your pet would be $75 for the cost of a deep pet clean. This ensures all hair and allergens are removed for future guests. Please send us a message of what type of pet you have and the circumstances.

Please respect the space as if it were your own. The condo is in a residential area, and we like our neighbors so please respect noise levels after hours. This unit is not intended to use for partying or illegal activity.
