'I want to commend your reception staff (Eiffel and Dex) for their willingness to help us when we needed it most. We had misplaced our phone on our way to the hotel in the bullet train. Despite not knowing the language he assisted us promptly by calling the relevant people and helped greatly with the recovery within 24 hours. 'Good hotel with good staff and well maintained. It's far from Xian points of interests. Big problem is that no one speaks english AT ALL. Not even few words. It's really hard for a basic communication and it' COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE for a.high level hotel like a Crowne Plaza'

'Great hotel but not in the location it says on the map on hotels.com. We spent an hour trying to find the place and ended up spending money on cabs because we were not at all in the area we thought the hotel was located. I will say, the hotel was great and the service excellent. The breakfast was delicious. One employee spoke English and was able to arrange a car for us to the terra cotta army, and to the airport. '

'As one of the cheaper luxury hotels in the city, Sofitel did not disapoint. The Service was outstanding. Everybody was extremely helpful and spoke good English. The room was big, clean and had a separate bath and shower. The Only minor setback is the location. although it's not too far from the bell tower area, it's still about 20 minutes on foot.'
