'What a wonderful stay. From the abdolutely nice place , beautifuly mentained, to a absolute clean room ,to a very nice loby room with all the amenities needed. The baggels and especialy the raspberry spread that was delicious, not to mention the hospitality the owners oferred was bar none. Mike made sure everybody and everything was great for a nice quiet stay. That makes it for a come back for sure. Absolutely reccomend this wonderful place 100% !!! 'We had a wonderful stay at the Old Lantern Inn in Charlotte VT. Our room was large with a king and a twin bed and views of Lake Champlain. The inn was very quiet and clean. 'Honestly, after a number of disappointing stays recently, we weren't expecting much so we could avoid being disappointed. But, we were anything but. We were in the maple room, which had private access to outside, a nice living room, a small kitchen (no stove), a large bedroom and very comfortable bed, and a semi small bathroom that was laid out well. 'The property was conveniently located and surrounded by retail stores and dinner options. Staff was extremely friendly, attentive and helpful. However the room was disappointing. The kitchen and bathroom showed signs of wear and tear, not all electric outlets were working and the hair dryer was also not working…luckily I brought my own.
