'Hotel San Lino is a very historical place to stay in Volterra. It has a magical view and a cosy swimming pool. The building is from 1480 and has a rich history. Its located within the walls of Volterra and is a very nice place to stay. The people working there a very friendly and helpful. We booked a room with breakfast. 'Nice we can park for free next to the hotel.
The centre is on walking distance, like 10 minutes.
The furniture and beds where a little bit old but all was very clean.
We had many delay with the flight so we where just on time for the check-in (23.00). If we where later we had a problem because there is then nobody. Good to know this.
We stay for 1 day and for us it’s was perfect! '

'Eine sehr schöne Anlage mit hohen schattenspendenden Bäumen. Es gibt ein Restaurant das ein für Italien sehr umfangreiches Frühstück, Mittag- und Abendessen anbietet, freundliches Personal. Die Ausstattung der Wohnung war funktional, die Betten groß und bequem, nur die Küchenausstattung etwas spartanisch und etwas in die Jahre gekommene Sanitäranlagen.
Schöner Pool plus Kinderbecken, die Liegen aber recht hart und durch die vielen Nadelbäume tritt man öfter in etwas Hartes am Poolrand, daher...

'Schoon en rustig hotel, super ligging aan het strand en het stadje is erg gezellig. Tot laat wat te beleven, live muziek in het hotel en een soort mini kermis voor de kleintjes om de hoek. De restaurants in de stad zijn wel erg toeristisch ingesteld dus je betaalt de hoofdprijs. Het ontbijt was super, veel keus en lekker. '

'In general a very basic hotel. I booked a Junior Suite (as the booking price then was the same as a standard room, but bormally it’s not). The extra space though did not contribute in any way to more comfort, actually just a greater distance to the small and worn out bathroom. Don’t get fooled by the pictures, the “decor” in the room not very appealing.
Breakfast was the worst I had so far in Italy.
My Spa appointment was cancelled by them half an hour after it was confirmed.
