'Excellent communication and process. Smooth check in and check out. Clean rooms. Neat property. One thing they should mention is that the access to the property is quite inclined and will be a steep walk for people with luggage. Secondly, since the reception is virtual, it closes at 7.30PM and then becomes difficult to approach for any services required. It was an excellent experience otherwise and will definitely want to stay here again.'

Ook hebben we goede tips gekregen waar te eten zoals de toscanen het zelf doen en de dorpjes in de omgeving waarbij je niet over de koppen van toeristen hoeft te lopen. 'The best thing is the location, and the accommodations were good. Having read the reviews we knew what to expect and were not surprised. The downsides were mainly the six flights of stairs and the fact that the bathroom is shared. Antonio was accommodating and offered good advice about what to see and where to eat. A couple things that could be done easily to improve the stay for guests would be to provide some closet and/or drawer space and to have a clear place in the bathroom for a guest...

Enkele minpunten: soms nogal wat wind, een uitdagend en grotendeels onverhard pad op weg naar het huis dat ver van enkele grote steden ligt (bv anderhalf uur van Firenze).'

'We stayed for a week. The apartment location was central to everything in one of the popular piazzas in the city. Unfortunately there were a few issues such as the shower being so tiny it was hard to even turn around (smaller than a cruise ship shower), no toilet seat on the toilet in the first bathroom, and the screens on the windows were broken/torn. This was important because we couldn’t turn the air conditioner on due to the dates we stayed and the laws in Florence which meant we had to keep...

'We only stayed for three nights, but we really thoroughly enjoyed this home away from home Julian and Anna offered us. We had a nice private terrace, the sleepingroom was cosy and in the appartment everything needed, was available. Florence was within reach with the tramvia. The house is in a valley in between cypresses and olive trees and the dogs Poppy and Alma were very friendly. We certainly do come back! Ed and Tanja'
