'This apartment is at the very top of ,one of only 5 medieval towers in Florence. Yes, it's a tough walk up unless you are athletic (and more so with luggage), but the view from the top floor of the apartment (there are 3-4 depending on how you count) had the most stunning view! Everyone in our group thought this apartment was a highlight of the trip. It's centrally located and there are even restaurants below in the piazza. Just the Irish bar is a little loud at night but I slept through it.'

'It was a great stay at the hotel. We booked superior but got a room with a balcony with the view on the Ponte vecchio. The staff was really friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good, and the view from the rooftop is amazing. The drinks are expensive on the rooftop bar but it is worth it now and then. The pool is nice to cool down a bit from the heat in the summer. Next to that the room is very clean and the beds are comfortable, the shower is also great. You can ask for room service...

'This b&b is fantastic for the right people. To be clear, it is a fourth floor walk up with NO elevator. If this works for you, then the location is great.
