Perched above False Bay and just a short drive from the heart of Simon’s Town, is this 1-bedroom apartment which is perfectly suited for solo adventurers or couples looking to slow down and soak up the best of False Bay living.



The apartment has a king-sized bed with 100% cotton linen and towels. A compact but well-equipped kitchen with a two-plate gas stove, oven, microwave, and a full-sized fridge, makes cooking meals at home a breeze. A cozy dining nook doubles as a handy workspace, and the lounge offers a comfortable spot to unwind with a smart TV and uninterrupted ocean views.



Slide open the door to your private-use balcony and take in sweeping views across the bay. Guests often spot whales, dolphins, and playful seals from here. There’s also a small bbq/braai for relaxed outdoor cooking. (Please note that while the balcony is for your exclusive use, it is visible to neighbouring properties due to its ocean-facing position. You know what they say: you can't have it all! ;) )



If you're travelling with friends, there’s a second apartment directly opposite the entrance, making this an ideal setup for two couples wanting to holiday together while still enjoying their own space.



Come for the view, stay for the calm. This apartment is your launchpad to explore Cape Point, the penguins at Boulders Beach, and the stunning Southern Peninsula.



Important: Admin is boring so we are sorry about this but to remain compliant, we do require that guests complete a pre-checkin which includes uploading your Identity document / passport, verify with a selfie and sign our terms and conditions. This information is stored in compliance with POPIA and is done through Truvi. They will contact you separately. Thank you for your understanding.



Guest Access:

Guests have access to the whole apartment.



The Neighborhood:

Simon's Town is a maritime marvel steeped in history and charm. With its naval base roots, the town beautifully marries its historical architecture with the natural beauty of its bays and beaches. Famous for its colony of African penguins at Boulders Beach, Simon's Town offers visitors a unique chance to observe these delightful creatures up close. The town's cobbled streets are lined with quaint boutiques, eateries, and museums that speak to its rich heritage, making it a must-visit spot for those touring the Cape Peninsula.



Getting Around:

There is a train station about 5 minute walk away (Glencairn station) but for further adventures, we do recommend a car rental.



Other Things to Note:

Parking is on the street for 1 car but there is an active 24/7 neighbourhood watch and camera system. We do encourage you, however, to not leave anything in the car.

There is another apartment directly opposite this apartment that is also rented out: please be mindful of the other guests and the neighbours. This is a lovely quiet area that we all want to continue enjoying.

Interaction with Guests:

This is a self checkin apartment but Laurette (host) lives 5 minutes away in case of emergencies. The owner of the property does stay on the top floor of the house: you simply share an entrance gate.
