'Beautiful resort and great staff'

'This was an amazing stay... the views are absolutely gorgeous. The rooms were clean and very cozy and the staff was very nice. The host was able to give amazing recommendations for our tours. Assisting us in going to oslob and moalboal. Her recommendations were amazing and we missed the hecticness of the crowds. It was almoat like paying for a private tour. They have a few restaurants near by with great food. We did rent car in city so we had transport but even for days we didnt use transport....

The location is perfect—just a short walk to the falls—and the staff are genuinely friendly and always ready to help. The place is quiet, clean, and peaceful, which made our stay really relaxing. Dining options are a bit limited though. There were no fish dishes available during our stay, and the kitchen closes at 7 PM, which feels a little early for tourists who might come back late from...

'Exceptional service, helpful and resourceful staffs, and clean room. Due to the typhoon, our tour was cancelled and we really couldn’t do much. Hotel staffs set up karaoke and pool table for us, to keep us busy. They claimed the tree and provided fresh coconuts for us. They were engaging, professional and help us coordinated transportation and activities outside the hotel. Staffs are also very honest. 'It is very convenient and a 5 minute walk to where you can snorkel with sardines and turtles'

'Our stay at the Backyard Inn was nothing short of a nightmare. The experience felt like actually sleeping outside with the chickens. The pod smelled of chicken waste, the sink didn’t drain, and the noise was unbearable—constant chicken noises, roosters crowing, and no peace or quiet to rest. We couldn’t wait to leave. The only saving grace was the staff, who were friendly and helpful, but that does not make up for the dreadful conditions. I would never stay here again. Avoid this place unless...
