The bar and restaurant were super convenient and we enjoyed watching sports on the numerous tv’s in the area especially during a major thunderstorm one evening! We didn’t have to venture out for a meal, it was right there in the hotel.'

There was rust in the tub in my room and the toilet seat was loose and the roll of tissue on the side of the toilet was just about gone. But I could live with the room. 'My top values in a property are cleanliness, a nice shower, comfortable bed. This one hit all of those. We stayed 3 nights for a Royals baseball game and it was about 15 minutes from the stadium. Highly recommend. Has a beautiful exterior and interior, loved that we got to stay in a historical building with tasteful modern choices. The in room lighting was nice. Soft towels and a great bed.
