I had misunderstood the time given for breakfast, so when we came down there was nothing left. She saw that I was upset, came over and offered to make us something really quick. She went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. '

'We stayed here for 2 nights in a comfortable suite. The property was very pleasant, as were the staff. Parking was easy and safe. Strange that a hotel of this class doesn't have a bar or restaurant though. I know they offer a glass of wine in the evening, but having to walk 10 minutes to find somewhere to go for a nightcap we found unusual. Feels more like a wedding venue than a full-service hotel. Breakfast was very good.'

'The hotel is dated and dark and needs upkeep. I paid for a king-size room, but the internet connection didn't work there, so I had to be moved to a double, which was just as dark, with torn carpet and broken lampshades. The internet connection did work there, but the TV stopped working after a while. 'My room was very clean. Property was quiet and neat. I did not like having to park in the back and walk around the building in the dark to check in.'

'Front desk staff is very unprofessional in appearance and demeanor. Appeared panicked dealing with the hotel being heavily booked. Do not like being addressed as "baby' or "honey" even in NC!'
