Studio spacieux dans une rue calme et verdoyante de la ville, indépendant, avec sa propre entrée, hauts plafonds avec poutres apparentes, petite cuisine entiÚrement équipée, mobilier confortable et attrayant, porte française menant à une terrasse privée, patio, barbecue, bon wifi, tables pour manger et travailler, un piano (Steinway, baby grand) pour jouer. Beaucoup de bons livres à lire ou à parcourir. Lit queen confortable. Foyer au gaz confortable, stationnement hors rue, ventilateur de plafond, climatisation disponible en été. Bowdoin College et Maine Street à Brunswick se trouvent à 2 pùtés de maisons. Musées, galeries, cafés locaux, brasserie, bar à vins, nombreux bons restaurants, antiquaires, sites historiques et marché fermier accessibles à pied. Centre commercial Freeport à 15 minutes. La scÚne artistique et gastronomique de Portland à moins de 30 minutes. Terrain de golf public à quelques minutes en voiture (10 minutes). Feuillage d'automne et matchs de football universitaire, sentiers de randonnée, plages de sable fin, ßles à explorer à proximité. Lovely studio near Bowdoin College

The cottage is absolutely lovely. My teen son and I stayed while visiting Bowdoin. It’s on a quiet street that is a quick walk to campus. The decor was beautiful while also being relaxed. It also was very clean and I appreciated that the sheets and towels were scent-free.Though the cottage is directly behind the host’s home, it felt completely private. As for the host, Susan could not have been more helpful and welcoming. Communication was outstanding from my first inquiry before booking to when we left Brunswick. Highly recommend. I hope to return!

Perfect getaway for 2

My spouse and I recently spent our Thanksgiving holidays in this little gem in the heart of downtown Brunswick. We were immediately made to feel welcome by Susan, and the houses felt like home to us. Thoughtful amenities were everywhere. There was a great reading selection - art, music,literature, vintage children's books. Best of all for me was the baby grand Steinway tucked away and ready to play. So cozy and warm. We will be returning for sure. Carol & Peter

Perfect place for Bowdoin visit

Had a great time at the cottage during parents weekend at Bowdoin. Perfect location walking distance to college and downtown. Comfortable accommodations and lovely hosts. Will be back!

Convenience and culture

Comfortable and private. Within walking distance of trains and buses that can take one further north or south. Easy access to downtown and coastal highway 1 by car. Hostess has tastefully decorated this studio cottage with good art and good books.

Wonderful everything!

Even before we arrived, Susan made us feel welcome. She made checking in very low pressure and simple...we just walked in. At first glance, the cottage seemed quaint and peaceful. Inside, every item is attentively appointed and very tidy. Cleanliness is very important to us and the cottage was absolutely impeccable. We would definitely stay again if we are in the area and I highly recommend it as a comfortable, clean, peaceful, and beautiful rental property.

Great Cottage

We really enjoyed our stay in this comfortable cottage that is on a quiet street yet close to everything in Brunswick. The space is well equipped with everything you need to cook and rest comfortably. It fit our family of three very well. Susan, the host, was so accommodating and helpful. We appreciate her so much! Lovely!

This was our first visit to Brunswick and we had a great time. The location was perfect for walking the Bowdoin College campus and the Maine Street area had many fun restaurants and stores. We would definitely stay here again!! Great hosts and clean, comfortable cottage. They were very helpful with information and best places to visit while in the area. Thanks for having us!

A Hidden Gem

What a lovely cottage. Close to everything, but tucked away from the busy streets. Lovely landscaping around the property. Beautifully furnished. Comfy bed is always important & that it was. Nice facing sofas for chatting and chilling after a long day of hiking. Bookcase holds fascinating books. Kitchenette has all you need to make your stay comfortable. This was a Mother, Daughter trip and I was so pleased with the accommodations. Owner is super friendly, and helpful. Very kind and just a genuine soul. We hope to visit again in the future.

Relaxation In Brunswick Maine - 2023

Our stay was wonderful. The cottage is very easy to get to. The host was friendly and accommodating. The cottage has just about every thing you could want. It was clean, the furniture was very comfortable. It is very convenient to the great little downtown area, where you'll find good choices of eateries, really nice gift stores. They have market days on the green, where you'll find all kinds of fresh vegetables, flower and much more. The town itself has a lot of culture. We found that people were very friendly and were happy to help with direction and such. Also, you have the public transportation to get around to other locations rather quickly...like Portland, Freeport, Bath, etc. If you are looking for a place to relax, sight see, enjoy a nice selection of restaurants and some really great cafes', then this location is prime. Oh and you can also visit Bowdoin Collage where you'll find music, art, theater and just a nice campus to stroll. This cottage is within walking distance of all the places I mentioned. Again, I want to say how much we loved the cottage, especially after a full day of touring and site seeing. If you do go, we hope you enjoy it as much as we did. We will visit there again as we love Maine and we just fell in love with Brunswick. S & J Knauss

Very Walkable

Great place to stay in Brunswick. Quiet neighborhood. Easily walk to Bowdoin College, restaurants, grocery store, and the train station. Owners are very friendly and had good suggestions of things to see and do. Brunswick is a wonderful town as it offers plenty of things to do and places to eat without feeling "touristy". Bowdoin campus is beautiful with an incredible art museum.
