Enjoy a fully furnished home overlooking the mighty Mississippi River from the bluffs of Brownsville, MN. Just a skip and a hop from Lawrence Lake Marina for fishing and entertainment, nearby hiking or plan you next hunting trip, if that's more your speed. Either way, your nature getaway awaits!

This ALL SEASONS rental is located with in a mile of two public boat landings and fishing dock, only15 minutes from downtown La Crosse, WI and 15 minutes from the Iowa border. Houston County area is rich in wonderful trout streams for fly fishing enthusiasts, ice fishing at Lawrence Lake (2 minutes), snowmobile trails, home of the white tail deer and wild turkey, bird watching, hiking, biking trails, and so much more.

After a full day of exploring the area, you will have an opportunity to make some lifelong lasting memories with your family and friends. Enjoy the screened in porch, stargazing, a fire pit, or plethora of family oriented puzzles and games.

Great place for exploring the river towns

Everything was great and exactly as described. Loved the screened in porch for reading and relaxing, although it took a little getting used to the sounds of motorcycles on the highway! Didn’t hear any of that noise when inside the house. Lots of games, puzzles and a fully stocked kitchen. Thanks!!

Much needed quiet week

The cabin was very well stocked. When we do VRBOs we have a plastic tub that we take with us with things that are often not supplied. I don't think we even open the tub while at River Den. We thoroughly enjoyed the screen porch, even though the beginning of the week was cold and wet. The beds were comfortable, and we appreciated all the extra throw blankets available. We enjoyed a drive along the Apple Blossom Scenic drive and headed into La Crescent to eat a couple times. But overall, it was a great a place to do nothing and recharge for a few days.

Great place to relax.

The home was very comfortable inside and out. It was evident that a lot of thought went into the recent remodeling effort. There were many nice design elements which made our stay very enjoyable.Everything that we needed was there, both indoor and outdoor. We walked in and immediately felt at home.We enjoyed the deck, grill, and especially the fire pit.The property is not as secluded as had wished. We highly recommend booking this property.

Lovely abode in Brownsville

This property is amazing! Super clean, spacious, and lovely updated house. Beautiful views. The hosts provide many small details to enhance the stay-keurig machine, Brita water in fridge, well stocked kitchen and bathrooms, game cupboard, dartboard, fire pit, grill, lots to do! Super comfy beds and nice bedding, plenty of extra blankets, and towels! No complaints, would stay again.

Long weekend with a view!

This place was fantastic! Clean, great location for wineries, breweries and outside activities. Had everything and more. We enjoyed an outside fire with stars viewing. Morning coffee and breakfast with the best view plus house is stocked with games, darts & tons to do. Planning to stay here again! Couldn't complain if we tried- everything was perfect!!
