'We’ve been in Rowan Cottage for a week and we loved every minute of it. The house itself is very well equiped and very spacious. The view from both the sitting area as the bedroom is spectacular. The grounds surrounding the cottages are well kept with a good balance for nature and leisure. All the litle resting areas were you can enjoy the spectacular views are amazing. We had a great time and will be back if possible!'

'Our large family of 8 adults and 6 children truly enjoyed our wonderful family reunion at the lake. We love the new path to the lake because it is perfect for our elderly grand parents and our young children. There is seating for all of us to eat at one time too enjoy telling stories. The lake house and the lake front property are exactly as described and we recommend this property for family reunions. Two of our children caught their first fish right off the dock here and they are still talking...

'The cottage was well appointed and had everything we needed. The only thing that I have to complain about is the cleanliness of the place. I had to pay a cleaning fee, yet the cottage was not very clean in some areas. I spilled some water on the floor and when I mopped it up the cloth came away filthy. Same with the table top, it had sticky rings from a glass on it and was quite dirty.'

'This was fun get-away for our group. It is remote so don't plan on any "quick trips" to town - but you have everything you need at the cottage anyway. We spent our days between the lake and the pool - lake was the preference with the trampoline docks. Overall a great experience, though it quickly ended with an evacuation due to the fires.'

'This historic cottage is charming, spacious and functional. The Cable Bay Trail out to Joan Park along the coast is an absolute must walk. We had four days of rain and still enjoyed ourselves greatly, thanks to the games room.'
