If you are looking for a one-level, luxury lake house in Brevard with the best lake views in the area, look no further!

Lake Tranquility lives up to its name. A mountain home in the resort community of Connestee Falls on a private 1 acre wooded peninsula with lake views everywhere. One level living with easy access to the dock on the lake behind the property.

The quaint mountain town of Brevard is 15 minutes with nice shops and restaurants. Nearby attractions include Dupont State Park, Pisgah National Forest, Sassafras Mountain, Sliding Rock, Gorges State Park and Cradle of Forestry all within 30 minutes. Flatrock Playhouse, Hendersonville, Blue Ridge Parkway, Ski Sapphire Valley and Asheville are within 45 minutes. There are many nearby scenic drives to waterfalls and beautiful mountain views as well as charming mountain towns. Head out for a hike in Table Rock State Park or to Rainbow Falls, or take a day trip to Asheville to explore the Biltmore and breweries in town.

The home was immaculate, very well supplied, and has recently been renovated and decorated. It is very private and peaceful, with a lovely lake view. The master bedroom and bath are huge, but second bedroom does not have adjoining bath. The driveway is easily accessible for two cars and the garage is a huge plus! We enjoyed using the SUPs on the lake. Thanks for hosting us.

The house and views of the lake were amazing. Our entire family thoroughly enjoyed our time at Lake Tranquility! The neighborhood amenities were great, the hiking trails were fantastic, and the house was clean and comfortable.

Perfect relaxing remote getaway

House was great for our family of 4 (yes it can sleep a lot more). The paddle boards and kayaks were used every day we were there; a much appreciated addition to the rental. They do need to be cleaned out of spiders every day before use (it’s the woods and a covered area, should be expected).With rainy weather while we were there it was perfect, fewer people and still getting warm sun most of the day while we were there. We did have an issue with the fridge no longer cooling on our second to last day there (Saturday). The owner was very responsive and offered a partial refund since it would be Monday after we left before anyone could come service it (we didn’t take it, one day with no fridge isn’t a huge deal for us). We will absolutely be coming back, hopefully the positive reviews don’t make it impossible to book in the future

One-of-a-Kind Peaceful Mountain and Lakefront Property

You cannot find a more peaceful location than this house. Located on a very calm lake, set in the midst of beautiful mountains, it feels like the setting is from a movie. Most days we had the lake totally to ourselves, and enjoyed paddleboarding and kayaking. The house was super clean, had amazing views of the lake, and lots of space in the kitchen, living, game room areas for hanging out with family. We also had a chance to visit the neighborhood pool, which has a dedicated lane for swimming laps. Downtown Brevard is super cute, and has some great restaurants. The owners are super responsive and committed to providing a great experience. We will definitely be returning!

Tranquility is just the start....

We absolutely loved this home! Celebrated two birthdays here with family and the house accommodated us all wonderfully. The kitchen and eating area is perfect for a larger group to gather and connect. The location of the home on the lake is ideal and the home itself is beautiful - well maintained (even updated with a new Master Bath!) and very well stocked with all that you need for an enjoyable stay. Every morning we watched the sunrise from either the deck overlooking the lake or from right inside in the two reclining chairs overlooking the lake. What an amazing way to start the day! Rick and Margaret are wonderful hosts. Very communicative and helpful. They went above and beyond to ensure we had what we needed during our stay. We will definitely return!!

My family has been visiting the Brevard area for 14 years and our stay at Lake Tranquility was by far the best. Rick provided everything we needed from the time of booking to check out. The location can’t be beat and the house is beautiful and well equipped.

This was our second time staying at the property and it was just as we remembered. The lake view from the living room is what called us back. Loved the location and all the amenities that Connestee Falls had to offer. Quaint downtown Brevard was only 15 min away for some great shopping and dining. Communication was great with the hosts leading up to the trip! Would highly recommend if you’re wanting a peaceful relaxing vacation! I’m sure we will be back again in the future.

Perfect fishing spot and extremely clean

Had a wonderful time catching fish off the 2 docks, using the paddle board and cooking in the well stocked kitchen! Beautiful windows to view the lake and landscaping. Great neighborhood and enjoyed hiking as well as the pool. Comfortable beds and incredible stars at night. Felt at home and our young kids enjoyed the bunk beds and playroom games.

A Little Slice of Paradise

We came together for a siblings get together. Upon arrival, we knew right then this was the best place we could have reserved. This dwelling was so peaceful and serene we found it hard to venture out. Most of our afternoons were spent on the expansive porch sipping our cocktail of the day gazing at the beautiful lake. Exceeded all expectations!

You might look at the listing and think, "yeah, but what does it really look like?" I promise you that somehow, the pictures almost undersell this property. This is a stunning home in a fairytale setting. The landscaping is meticulous. The amount of work that goes into the terracing and planting and maintenance has to be enormous. There are steps that take you anywhere on the property you need to go. The water access is ideal. We brought an inflatable boat with trolling motor. Inflation was easy since they have a power outlet on the dock! You walk past a running fountain and under a small gazebo to get to the water, all of which feels very private. The house itself is beautiful. There is natural light in every room, and the furnishings are high quality. The dinnerware and cookware are top notch. They provide so many things to make your stay easier. I brought my own sheets and pillows because I've stayed at too many places with scratchy sheets (or no sheets) and uncomfortable pillows. Everything the homeowner provided was terrific! From beginning to end, there is nothing that could have made this stay better. The owners are great communicators and incredibly helpful. You will love your stay here!
