Wonderful stay!

We had a great stay at Vanessa & Dan’s place! It is just as pictured — beautiful and well appointed. Beds were very comfortable. Appreciated the 4.5 bathrooms and multiple living areas given that our large family was staying there. Vanessa and Dan were easy to get in touch with and super responsive. Would definitely stay here again! Thank you!

Wonderful getaway

The house is incredible. Perfect place to spend a weekend celebrating my mom’s 75th birthday. The grandkids (age 9-12) had a ball in the game room- (so did the parents and grandparents). The house was very well appointed and had everything we needed in the kitchen to make big family meals. We loved hiking around the property and even got some snow. Vanessa was incredibly responsive with everything. Couldn’t have been better!

Great option to go with family or friends

We had an amazing stay with friends! The house is huge and has everything you need. The new bathrooms are super clean, and the kitchen is fully equipped. Loved the game room, hot tub and indoor entertainment options. Plus, there is a lake and other outdoor activities very close to the house. Communication was great and everything worked perfectly. Highly recommend!

Ponder Yonder was terrific! My friends and I had a great time exploring the nature around the property, and we spent a lot of time at the firepit & on the upstairs porch. Plus the hosts were super communicative and the whole experience was seamless. Would definitely recommend it to a friend.

Thanksgiving 2023

Absolutely fantastic!! The bathrooms attached to the bedrooms were gorgeous!! The game room was such a blast for the grandkids! Also enjoyed the hot tub. Such a spacious kitchen for three women cooking Thanksgiving dinner! The best memories I will have are watching Grampa with the grandkids hiking the property. Kept getting requests to go again and again! Even spotted a beaver. Highly recommend this rental!!

What a great time

We had a blast, house was perfect, beds comfortable, game room REALLY fun for the kids (and adults), and we spent a lot more time kayaking in the ponds than we'd planned to. Highly recommend.

Very Fond of Ponder Yonder

My family enjoyed every minute of our stay! The house was beautiful, the property was gorgeous, we honestly couldn't ask for more in any way. We enjoyed kayaking, walking the trails throughout the property, star gazing on the porch, table tennis matches....there wasn't enough time in the day to do all the activities at our disposal. The property offers great privacy with the convenience of shopping close by, the house is furnished beautifully and the high-end spa like bathrooms give ambience that added a touch of indulgence to our stay. The owners were responsive and very accommodating. We will absolutely be coming back to see other seasons!

Family vacation 2023

The house was beautiful but the grounds were amazing. So peaceful and the kids loved looking for frogs, beavers and otters. We explored a few of the paths to find hidden waterfalls and kayaked in the ponds where we saw a turtle, frogs and beaver habitats. Great week.

Great house for a family

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the house. Kids and adults loved the game room, and liked the ability to spread out in the two living rooms and two porches. The view from the porches was great. Kayaking and canoeing in the front pond was enjoyable. Hiking into the woods was limited by muddy conditions due to the excessive rainfall Vermont experienced last week. It was an ideal place for our three families to get together. Would recommend this house to others...great place to stay in VT.

Ponder Yonder is your own private getaway resort! Beautiful!

From the moment we turned in the long driveway we knew we were going to love this house. Nestled in beautiful southern Vermont, Ponder Yonder is a home where you can escape the hustle of work and city and just relax. Absolutely Amazing

The house is absolutely stunning, so updated, and spacious. The game room was an absolute hit! We had so much fun! The property is absolutely breath taking we had an amazing time exploring the property trails and enjoyed fishing and kayaking. The house had everything you could possibly need. Lot's of fun!

We loved our stay at this property. There are two big living rooms which provides a lot of space for people to spread out. The home has a great decor, the owners clearly took the time to make the place nice. There are tons of bathrooms, each one seems remodeled. The beds were super comfortable. There are new tvs in virtually every room. Multiple places for people to sit outside and enjoy the views. The game room was so much fun. They had basketball, skee ball, ping pong, billiards, and a pin ball machine! Looks like they had kayaks and canoes but we didn't end up using them since our stay was short. All in all the place felt great. It's well maintained, feels modern indoors and rustic outdoor. No complaints!

Amazing Retreat!

Vanesa and Dan were fabulous hosts! The house is well equipped with everything you could possibly need. The house was available when requested, the place was spotless and the fun began right away. They had games, a well equipped game room, and several TV’s to pass the time. We used the hot tub and enjoyed exploring the property which was immense and very private and peaceful. We used the fire pit and grill as well. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms and kitchen were all very modern and towels were plentiful. I could not think of one thing that was missing. We love Wilmington and have been going up there on Columbus day weekend for the past 4-5 years. The leaf peeping and hiking is always enjoyable and there is plenty to do. We would definitely consider staying here again if given the opportunity. Thank you both for sharing your home with us. Regards, Mark

Fabulous Vacation

Ponder Yonder is a wonderful property. The house has been thoroughly modernized, great bathrooms, A/C and internet. Beds are new and very comfortable. Sheets and towels so good I wrote down the manufacturer to buy some. Kitchen is very large. Appliances are great - grill is new. It is a lovely home. We had a wonderful visit. The outside has 5 or so ponds. Pathways are maintained so you can walk around them. Chairs and tables are outside so you can sit and relax. There is a state park right across the street, and walking trails to the other side. Dan was wonderful with maps and information for hiking or running. House is better than pictured. Owners could not have been more responsive. We had a fabulous time there.

Relaxing oasis on gorgeous Vermont property

We really enjoyed our stay! The week just flew by! The property owners were very responsive with clear instructions. The house/property was just like the photos -- Absolutely gorgeous and peaceful! Large windows so you can enjoy the light and spacious views in every room. Ponds are accessible for canoeing or kayaking. The hot tub was so relaxing! The recommended places to eat were close by and delicious. The grocery store was also conveniently located... which was perfect for the large kitchen. The game room is filled with recreational activities such as ping-pong, skee-ball, and basketball. There is so much to do outside and indoors. Our only regret is not inviting more people to enjoy such a spacious and accommodating oasis on this relaxing, gorgeous Vermont property.

Fantastic place

This is a beautiful home in a great location. Convenient to Mt. Snow but still felt secluded. Fantastic kitchen with a ton of room to cook for 10 people. Our group loved the game room and hot tub. Vanessa and Dan were responsive and helpful. Our group would love to stay here again.

Perfect family getaway!

My husband and I (and our FIVE boys!) stayed with another couple and their two kids and it was perfect! There was lots of room and things to do to keep everyone busy, the kitchen was well stocked (not just a random potato masher and mis-marched forks, but everything you actually need to cook for a dozen people). The game room and hot tub were a huge hit and we had fun exploring the property on a 60 degree February day when it was too warm to ski!

Perfect Vermont getaway

The setting and ponds are absolutely gorgeous - we felt secluded but still convenient to get groceries, to Mt. Snow, and to the town of Wilmington. The house is beautiful and had everything we needed. There’s more than enough room for multiple families. The living spaces are comfortable and the kitchen was huge. The game room was an awesome bonus. Vanessa and Dan were welcoming and responsive. We had a great time and will definitely come stay again. Highly recommend.
