On an otherwise way too crowded time of year, the cottage rental was our perfect quiet, peaceful place to unwind. Would recommend for familes on a "camp not glamp" trip.
How our overall impression of the property was positive. The only real negatives that we had were no toaster, no scrubbing brush for cleaning pots, and I wouldâve liked to have had a blanket available.
Really enjoyed our time here. We wanted a cabin of our own close to the lake that would allow our black Labrador. Not an easy find but this was great! Plenty of space but be aware these are older cabins. They are clean though! We plan to be back at Christmas!
We enjoyed our stay. The cottage had everything we needed and it allowed our dogs to stay too. There is plenty of room to walk the dogs. The screened in porch allowed our dogs to be outside with us too. I loved having the store next door too. Thank you Heidi and Tony. We will be back again.
Easy to find and the check-in process was simple. Friendly staff and theyâre dog friendly, with lots of green space to walk the pups. The cottage was very clean, with a vintage charm. Along with a convenient location close to the marina and SDC, Iâll stay here again.
This peaceful, unassuming cottage in a beautiful location was the perfect spot for our family weekend getaway. The beds were comfortable and we slept great. The main bedroom has a garden tub where we could soak and relax after a day of walking throughout the sites and trails of Branson. We plan to make this an annual fall getaway!
Quiet cottage near Table Rock lake. Short 20 minute drive to Branson. Quick check-in, polite staff at store, and helpful management. Great location for dog and family.
Was a very nice little place. Perfect for our purposes. Will definitely plan another trip when itâs warmer and busier. They had everything there that we needed.
Everything about this experience was great! Our first time in Branson and this was a great first time and will always hold a special place in our hearts. It was cute, comfortable, affordable, and we made great memories!
My mother-in-law loves Branson and Silver Dollar City during the holidays. She turned 80 in August and this was my birthday gift to her, just a girl's trip with me and her to Branson. I chose this cabin for its close proximity to SDC as well as it being on the lake. It was lovely. The cottages are a little bit older, but very charming, cozy, and clean. It fit our needs perfectly. We were gone to SDC all day on Saturday. I highly recommend it during the holidays. The lights are extraordinary! One suggestion I left for management, and I will mention it here for you guys as well. The temperatures in Branson were 81 degrees on Tuesday before we arrived on Friday. However, Friday night it dipped into the upper 20s, and was only a high of 44 on Saturday. There is a digital thermostat next to the kitchen. That one controls the wall unit above the sofa in the living room. There are individual thermostats (an older type) in the bedroom and living room as well. They were all set on "off", so we didn't mess with them. It was super cold when we returned from SDC Saturday night, and we were a little uncomfortable sleeping that night. The next morning I decided to turn on the thermostats that were on "off", and very quickly realized they control the baseboard heat in both bedrooms and the living area. It was toasty warm by the time we checked out. I suggested they put little notes under each one to let folks know, and/or add it to the helpful tips that are on a paper on the refrigerator. It was mostly our fault for not asking, but just FYI, so you know. Overall, we loved it and will definitely go back. Having the store right next door was a big perk!! Hot coffee and cappuccino at your disposal, if you don't want to make it in your room. I also highly recommend a restaurant/bar just down the street called Pzazz! We had prime rib with all the fixings, and the most AMAZING house dressing called lemon/garlic. It was incredible!
Great location near Silver Dollar City and town. We had our dogs with us as did other nearby guests. Very pet friendly location. We would stay there again if we return.
This was a great location right on the lake and within 20 minutes of Branson attractions. The area also has multiple restaurants and a market. We will go back.
The hosts were helpful and responsive. The beds and sofa are comfortable. It is a decent place to sleep and other guests were pleasant. The porch was not useful because it was near the road, not pretty or restful. But I felt safe on the property and did have a restful stay overall.
I was misled by previous star ratings.
The property is similar in quality to 2-star hotels.
The linoleum tiles around the toilet were marred with adhesive (maybe from a previous toilet) and unattractive. The refrigerator and its door had grime/grease/rust spots on the side next to the counter. I was told that all 2 bedroom units had been âupgradedâ to neutral colors, so the attractive white and red bedroom picture should be removed.
We had a great weekend here!! Love the location being just 100 yards or so from marina and boat ramp. Very clean. Had everything we needed. Worked out great for our family and our 2 little dogs. The little market store was wonderful being so close and stocked so well with the things we forgot. We will definitely be coming back.
