- Escape with friends or your family of four to this beautiful bungalow in a peaceful area of Southbourne, where you can explore the scenic Jurassic Coast. With so much to do within walking distance, this is the ideal spot to forget about the car. Head off on foot and find plenty of amenities on Tuckton High Street (0.5 miles), including a supermarket, butchers, takeaways, pubs, restaurants and coffee shops. You can also access the Wick ferry (300 metres), which carries you across the river to the bustling town of Christchurch. The glorious, sandy shoreline of Southbourne beach (1 mile) is a popular spot for families to enjoy paddling and relaxing. From here, you can enjoy some lovely walks, including the Hengistbury Head Circular (1.5 miles) and coastal paths. If you can tear yourself away from the coastline, visit the stunning New Forest National Park (6 miles), where there are ancient woodlands and miles of paths to explore.
Park up the car in one of the two private spaces at this property, and head into this inviting retreat. Leave your shoes in the spacious porch area and lead through the hallway into the chic, stylish kitchen. Cook up delicious meals in this well-equipped space and dine together in the light, bright, lovely conservatory, which houses a dining table with the lovely garden as your backdrop. Curl up in the lounge on the pretty seating in front of the TV. For sleeping arrangements, you will find two sumptuous bedrooms, a king-size and a twin, which both share a family bathroom with a shower and a WC.
Outside, to the rear of the property, is a fully enclosed garden which is lined by borders containing mature shrubs and plants. Let the kids and the dog play on the large lawn space as you dine alfresco or sip on an evening tipple on the patio. A delightful summerhouse in the garden provides comfortable, pretty seating, a selection of games and a TV, perfect for sheltering during hot, summer days or offering the children of the group a place to hide away from the grown-ups.
