The Pause EcoCabin is an 80 m² (860 sq ft) A-frame eco cabin inside the Plastic Bottle Village, on the road to Boca del Drago, Isla Colón. This is the slow version of Bocas del Toro: jungle instead of bar music, birds instead of traffic, and time to do a lot or absolutely nothing.

THE SPACE

The cabin sleeps up to five guests:

- One bedroom with a Queen bed
- Two full-size sofa beds

WHERE YOU ARE

About a ten-minute drive from downtown Bocas and five minutes from the nearest beach. You're on the road toward Boca del Drago and Starfish Beach, so day trips are easy and you come home to quiet. Times vary with traffic and road conditions.

ABOUT THE SOLAR POWER

The Pause runs mainly on solar energy, and we'd rather tell you exactly how that works than have it surprise you.

The air conditioning is installed and working. We ask that you keep it at 24°C / 75°F and use it mostly during sunny days, when the panels are producing. On rainy days and cool nights, please use it only when you really need it so there's power for everything else. It's a small trade for staying somewhere that runs on sun instead of a generator.

PETS

Up to two small pets are welcome. They need to stay under their owner's care, not cause damage, and not disturb the quiet that other guests came here for.

BEFORE YOU BOOK

This is a cabin in a rainforest, and we want the right guests to find it. Rain on the roof, jungle sounds at night, and the occasional insect or bit of wildlife are part of the experience, not a problem to be fixed. If that sounds good to you, you'll love it here.
