from your apartment down towards Boca Chica (12- 15 mins drive)

David is the 3rd largest city in Panama. It is situated 1 hour away from our property on a very good road. Here you will find a large assortment of different shops, stalls and markets of all kinds. Some of the large shops here include Conways (this has just opened here December 09) Rey, Romero and 99 Shops are large supermarkets that are open 24 hours. There is also a large Pricesmart shop and numerous restaurants of all types and Casinos.
There are 2 large modern hospitals with all the latest equipment.

From here it is a very good point to visit Boquette, and also Volcan which is the highest point in Panama. Volcan is where the they gown a lot of the produce for Panama Cerro Punta which is a very famous place and is known as the bread basket of Panama.
Costa Rica frontier is only 40 minutes away from David.

CHIRIQUI is in the far western region of Panama having a border with Costa Rica that stretches down to the Pacific Ocean. The Gulf of Chiriqui provides a stunning prelude to the Pacific Ocean in which many small and uninhabited islands lay.
