Cette charmante maison est notre plus récent ajout à Diamond Properties "un dépassement de gamme" portefeuille de location. Clairement LE MEILLEUR emplacement du centre-ville de Blowing Rock, ce cottage 3BR / 2Bath entièrement rénové est véritablement un charme rustique. De vieux murs en bois de grange, une véritable cheminée à gaz en pierre, des planches de bois originales des années 1940 et plus vous donneront une véritable expérience de la montagne, tout en étant au milieu de tous les grands restaurants, magasins et activités.

Le porche vous offre une place au premier rang de Music on the Lawn à The Inn at Ragged Gardens. Faites griller des guimauves sur le foyer et faites cuire les steaks sur le barbecue sans jamais quitter votre espace de stationnement ... un vrai régal à Blowing Rock.

Beautiful place and GREAT location !The host was fabulous and quick to answer any questions.Only complaint is lighting inside is not great, very dark and the second bedroom the mattress caves in the middle.Stones Throw is a great mountain bungalow!

Beautiful outdoor space, Great location

The yard was very pretty, the location was central to walking to town, a restaurant across the street was nice. Parents with 2 adult kids and each had their own bedroom/space. It was nice to have a kitchen to make a meal, and just be together and not spread out among hotel rooms. Onsite washer/dryer was very convenient after hiking so we could do a few loads of laundry before we left for home. We didn't know there was a rental space below us, or behind us- we thought it was a separate home, but it worked out fine. It was a nice trip.

Our Fall R&R in Blowing Rock

We really enjoyed our stay here in this wonderful downtown getaway. The place was immaculate, and the owner really put a lot of love and care in all the decor - inside AND outside. Everywhere we looked, there were unique eye-catching details. She even had some Halloween decorations up. The yard was beautifully landscaped and well maintained. You can't beat the location. Just a short walk to Main Street and anywhere you wanted to go in the town of Blowing Rock. The truck seldom left the driveway the whole time we were there. We would definitely stay there again.

Excellent Location and Wonderful Home

This home is in downtown Blowing Rock. Its name, "A Stone's Throw", is apt, since it is in walking distance of shops and restaurants in the town. The host was extremely friendly and welcoming. Her restaurant recommendations were excellent, and we discovered that Blowing Rock and Banner Elk are definitely foodie destinations. Our two therapy dogs accompanied us, and loved the host, the house, and the walkable town. Highly recommend this home for your next mountain getaway!

Fantastic I'll be back

We were attending a family reunion and had 5 adults and 1 child. The place was warm and inviting with all the details from fire pit, to everything in the kitchen that you needed. It was spacious but cozy. We brought our dog and it was wonderful to have a fenced in yard and access to a big field in the back. WE LOVED IT!

Fantastic house

This was a great house and perfect location for my family trip to Blowing Rock and opening weekend at Tweetsie which my boys love. We loved walking to downtown to eat and play in the park. House was quiet, clean and very comfortable. Would definitely recommend to others and use again in the future. Thanks!

Spring Break 2024

We loved the uniqueness of this home. It had plenty of room for our family of five and our two dogs. The location was perfect. We loved that we could walk downtown and enjoy restaurants and shops. The fire pit was a hit, as the weather was perfect to sit outside and make s’mores and hang out. We would highly recommend this property for your stay in Blowing Rock!

Beautiful property in perfect location!

This was property was everything we needed for a wonderful Thanksgiving getaway! We walked everywhere we wanted to go because of its great proximity to Main Street. The home was beautifully decorated and was so cozy. The kitchen was well stocked and allowed us to make Thanksgiving dinner together. Karen was super responsive from booking through the trip. We’ll definitely be back!

Few days in the mountains during Fall

The cabin is decorated to create a warm and welcoming ambiance. It has so many details like the old wood doors with metal doorknobs and key holes. Reclaimed wood and material throughout. Many of the rooms reminded me of my grandparent's farmhouse. That night, snuggled under the warm quilts....I reminisced of all those wonderful summers spent on the farm because the bedroom so reminded of my old room. It was comforting and enjoyable. The exterior landscaping, porch, and yard are equally maintained for an enjoyable experience. We loved the firepit at night. Once the metal covering is removed, simply turn on the timer. Instant coziness. It was quite chilly that night, but we were warm by the fire. We enjoyed all the seasonal decorations inside and outside. Unfortunately, we needed to return home for personal reasons. Karen was very accommodating. I believe she is an excellent host and offers a great property for guests to enjoy. I will comment that old houses make noises due to normal conditions of aging. Such as old floors creaking. That is the experience. The antiques will charm you while the modern plumbing, fixtures, and kitchen will pamper you.

Weekend Getaway

Stones Throw was the perfect weekend getaway in every sense of the work. Location, amenities, comfort… The property was meticulously maintained and it proximity to all things downtown is just fantastic! We’re already looking forward to booking a bigger return family trip next year!

Great experience in downtown Blowing Rock

Right downtown yet quiet, we stayed there with our dog, who also liked the place. It's comfortable, convenient, has a cool gas fire pit, and everything works. We love going to Blowing Rock and it was a great home away from home.
