'This is a lovely hotel that has been converted from opd miner's cottages into modern rooms. The rooms are comfortable and clean although a little on the small side if you have a lot of luggage. It is conveniently located just a short walk from the town and the bus stop outside is handy for the sherpa bus. Unfortunately the lake view is now almost obscured by trees across the road. Amy was very welcoming and helpful throughout the stay and is always available. I would definitely recommend this...

'Stayed on the ground floor. Had a double bed in one room with access to the bathroom. two singles beds sofa comfy chair, tv microwave fridge in another room and access to an outside large patio area. Beds were very comfy rooms were clean, tea and coffee making facilities were supplied with a bottle of milk left in the fridge for us with 3 bottles of water. Breakfast was great fruit juices, cereals and full English cooked fresh. Will definitely stay here whenever I come back to...

'What a lovely experience. The room was spacious and had room to sit and enjoy a drink. The communal lounge was a beautiful space, with an honesty bar, and we were invited to use the fridge to store our own drinks if required. There is no meal service outside of breakfast, but the local area has several options. Breakfast was pre-ordered the night before, and was freshly cooked. Staff were friendly and attentive. This was a really enjoyable stopover. '
